“I hope you are right . . . that he won’t come back.”
“Let’s stop talking about this. We’re letting that useless dictator wannabe ruin a perfectly good reunion dinner.”
“Reunion?”
“Well, I was gone a couple of days.”
“You certainly were.”
Once dinner arrived, most conversation was done as they both ate ravenously. She knew why she was hungry, but wasn’t sure why he was. They finished off their meal with a positively decadent chocolate raspberry cheesecake before leaving for home. All the small talk was over, as they fell into bed to ravage one another.
It was miraculous just how much their relationship had changed. The sex was off the charts, but now she was less tentative, less concerned about what any of it meant or how it would end. She and Yakov would always be linked together. They would share a life dedicated to the rearing of the children they would be responsible for, so he would always be a part of her life.
Aileen knew that she was in love with him, that she hoped for so much more than she was entitled to, but she would never push it with him. Yakov was a wild animal at heart. Try to cage him and he would tear down the world to be free. If he chose to love her, she had no doubt that he would be the most kind and faithful man she could ever hope for. She had equal doubt that pushing the wrong buttons would result in him pushing her so far away that she would never find her way back into his orbit.
As they settled into bed, there was a certain softness between them tonight. Though she wasn’t very far along, the shortened gestation period of Omega babies had become evident. Her belly had begun to round and firm up, filled with life. Yakov was very careful with her, not taking any chances on harming their unborn.
“This is amazing,” he said, putting his hands on her growing belly.
“Unsightly,” she corrected.
“No, not at all. I find it very erotic. Watching something I’ve created inside of you grow, seeing the changes in your body that have happened because you are having my children . . .. It’s beautiful.”
“You’re just trying to make me feel better about turning into a bowling ball.”
“Bowling ball? Hardly. Not with amazing breasts like yours and look at them. They’ve gotten even fuller, rounder. Everything about you is breathtaking.
“You don’t have to flatter me, Yakov. I’ll sleep with you,” she laughed.
“I don’t plan on getting a lot of sleep,” he told her, leaning over her body and kissing her, careful to hold his larger frame up and away from hers so that he didn’t chance crushing anything with his weight.
Reaching between her legs, he began to massage her pussy with his adept fingers and it sent Aileen quickly over the edge. Her inner walls were swollen, sensitive. Even the slight teasing he was doing was driving her crazy with longing. He took his time, slipping another finger inside her to fuck her ever so gently.
His mouth fell on her nipple and pulled at it, twisting it lightly with his tongue and causing her entire body to tense. She sucked in her breath deeply, her tender nipples reacting to his touch. He took his time teasing her, bringing her to orgasm before finally entering her and making love to her in slow motion. His hips pulsed slowly back and forth, invading her tender folds until she couldn’t hold back anymore.
Dipping her nails into his back, she let loose with a mind numbing orgasm. Yakov wasn’t far behind. He pushed into her fully, the tip of his cock seeming to touch the opening to the womb he had already filled with growing seed and showering it with another heavy load of come. Falling over to one side, he lay there for a moment and caught his breath.
Aileen waited for him to announce that he was going to shower, but he didn’t. Instead, he pulled the covers over himself and pulled her to him, snuggling her into the crook of his arm and kissing her lightly on the top of the head. She lay there, awake, still waiting for him to destroy the afterglow with departure, but instead, she found herself listening to him snore gently against her ear.
Something had changed and she wasn’t sure what. Yakov seemed to be giving in to their relationship somehow, but was it just familiarity or more? Unless he decided to say something, she had no way of knowing and she wasn’t about to turn into one of those women who continually asked for affirmations about where their relationship was headed. In their case, she knew. It was headed for a fake divorce.
She felt a sense of disbelief that they were finally at this place, this place she thought they would never be. Perhaps it wasn’t love, but it was a comfort with one another. They were friends. They were lovers. They would soon be parents. That was all that mattered. She lay awake for a while longer, just listening to him as he slept. His chest rose and fell as he seemed to be content. It made her wonder why he preferred to sleep in here sometimes as a human when he seemed to opt for sleeping as a dragon in his own quarters. It was perhaps one of those things she would never know.
