More Than Most - Page 9

“Then what is going on, Curtis. Every time I tell you to ask me questions, you start acting weird. What am I supposed to think?” I am trying to quell my anxiety, but something doesn’t seem right. “Please just tell me what is going on.” And please don’t let it break my heart.Chapter SixCurtisShit. Shit. Shit. Talk about stuck between a rock and a hard place. I can either tell her that I am a stalker who followed her around, jerking off every time I saw her. Or, I can say nothing and risk losing her. The latter is not an option. Taking a deep breath, I turn toward the woman I have fallen in love with and pray she sticks around after this. “The truth is, Lil Bit, from the moment I saw you I knew you were supposed to be my future. I knew. But I just don’t feel like I have anything to offer you. At least nothing you deserve. So, I stayed away. Well, sort of. I changed my hours at work and started working the night shift, so I could follow you during the day and watch you.” I say the last part really fast, hoping maybe she won't hear it, or will miss it.

“I’m sorry. Did you say you have been watching me for the past three weeks?” I nod, too scared to let the words ‘yes’ leave my mouth. “Why?” she asks, her voice filled with uncertainty.

“I just…I just couldn’t let you get away from me, even from a distance. I wanted to know everything I could about you. I needed to know the woman who…” I stop before finishing not sure right now is the right time to say what I am thinking. She moves closer to me, her eyes showing concern.

“The woman who what, Curtis?” she asks her eyes shining and a bit emotional. Taking it as a sign that everything might be ok, I touch her face and tell her the truth.

“The woman who has stolen my heart.” I whisper, praying she doesn't run from me.

“What are you saying?”

“I am saying that as crazy as it sounds, I love you, Lil Bit. When you walked into the shop, something inside of me came alive. My heart began to pump. My mind began to dream, and my body began to need it. You...are everything.” I wipe the tear that falls from her face and bring her chin back up. “Please tell me that’s a good tear, baby. Tell me I haven't scared you away from me.” my body is stunted, not moving, refusing to continue to live if she isn’t still with me.

“I know I should be scared. I should be running from you. But what does it say about me that I find the fact that you followed me, hot and endearing? I won’t lie. I wish you wouldn’t have stayed away, Curtis. We have lost three weeks that we can’t get back. But I don't want to waste anymore. I must be crazy too because… I love you.” With those three words everything in my life has been given more light. She loves me. I pull her into my arms and hold her against my chest.

“I think you need to be aware of a few more things.” I tell her taking a quick kiss.

“Oh no. Is this where you tell me you’re married?” she giggles as she says it, but I can hear the pain behind the smile. I will get into that in a bit.

“Look at me, Yvette.” I wait for her eyes to meet mine. “I am looking at my wife. The only one I will ever have. I just needed you to know that I am possessive, needy and I don’t share. You and our kids will be my whole world, baby. I am a demanding motherfucker about things that mean something to me and you...sweet Yvette, mean everything. Think you can handle that?” She doesn’t even hesitate.

“What girl wouldn’t love that? I have never felt safer and more precious than I have since I met you. If all of that is going to keep me feeling this way for the rest of my life, then I am more than fine with that.” Thank God. “Uh-oh. If we get moving, you are going to be late for work.” she says wrapping her arms around my neck.

“You are right? But know, when I am done, your ass is mine.” I say squeezing it, rubbing her against me.

“Promise?” she asks, her eyes glossing over.

“That’s a promise baby.”We make it to my job with twenty minutes to spare. Stopping by her apartment, she changed clothes and gathered some stuff for the next few days, since we decided she would be staying with me on the ride over. I really want to convince her to move in, but I am trying to give her time. It’s not going to last though. I need her with me every day. She wanted me to meet her roommates, but they were both at work. Pulling into the parking lot I see Mike’s car is here. “Are you sure it is ok for me to be here with you? I mean you are at work.” When she worries, she bites her lip. Every time she does it, I want to suck it into my mouth while my cock beats the fuck out of her pussy yet again. Shit. I have to adjust my jeans. This fucker refuses to act right.
