Don't Go There (Awkward Love 5)

“Well, hello,” he murmurs, grinning up at me.
“This is a pretty good way to be unnecessarily woken up,” I say.
“Sorry.” He grins. “I saw you lying there and I couldn’t resist.”
He laughs and slides a condom over his cock, then positions me above him. I bring myself down hard, gasping as he slices through me. He rocks me back-and-forth. I gasp, still aching from my climax, the feel of him inside me, almost pushing me into another one.
“God, watch it.” I gasp as he grabs my wrists, sending me flying down until I’m flat against him. I say with a smile. “Are you all right there?”
“That’s much better,” he mumbles. His eyes flash as he kisses me, his mouth engulfing mine, then he pulls back, long enough to smirk at me, before lifting me onto his cock.
I groan, lowering myself down on his shaft, my thighs clenching as he fills me. He rocks me, while I grind against him, his length slipping deeper inside my slick pussy. I groan, cupping my hand over his as he massages my breasts. He pinches my nipple and I cry out, my body jerking forward.
“Oh God,” I pant, rocking against his length.
He smirks and clutches my hips, driving himself faster and harder into me. He grunts as he releases, coming hard inside me. I gasp, sliding myself down onto his stiffness over and over again until I begin to climax.
“Oh,” I groan, closing my eyes.
I rock forward, my body aching as I come. I whimper, grinding gently against him, until even that is too much for me to handle. Lifting myself off him, I collapse next to him, not resisting when he pulls me into his arms. I sigh and close my eyes.
“Well, last night’s game finished better than I could’ve imagined,” he whispers in my ear.
I laugh and roll over, just enough to kiss him, then I nestle in his arms again. He kisses my shoulder, his tongue drawing circles around my neck. I smile and fight the urge for sleep when I feel myself drifting off again.I open my eyes, glancing over at Adam, who is draped across me. I fumble for my phone as it vibrates madly on the floor next to the bed. I lift it to my face and squint.
Darcy.
I clear my throat and put it on speakerphone, then close my eyes again, not ready to wake up just yet.
“Hey,” I say, yawning. “What’s up?”
“Not much. Why do you sound like I woke you?” she asks suspiciously.
“Because you woke me?” I suggest.
Adam chuckles and kisses along my collarbone.
“It’s eleven. You haven’t left?” She gasps. “Let me guess. You were up all night fucking Adam?”
Eleven? How the hell did that happen?
He must’ve really worn me out.
Twice.
I giggle, then remember Darcy is on the phone.
You’re are on speakerphone,” I inform her. “And he’s right here.”
She pauses. “So, were you up all night fucking him?”
I laugh at how shameless she is. Nothing is off limits when it comes to Darcy. Unless it’s about her …
Actually, no. Even then, she’ll share too much.
“It’s none of your business.” I giggle. “Did you call for a reason other than to ask me that?”
“Oh, right.” She pauses. “I found Lily. She’s pissed, and she wants to speak to you.”
“You found her? Where?” I yell, sitting up.
“At the hotel. I found her loitering out the front,” she explains.
Adam sighs and runs his hand through his hair, his expression annoyed. Probably because she went half a conversation before she mentioned it.
“I’m going to text you the address of an apartment not far from there, okay?” he announces. “You’ll go there and stay inside until we get there.” He pauses. “Okay?”
He waits until Darcy mumbles a yes, then he gives a satisfied nod.
“Good. It’s much safer than hanging around the hotel.”
“Are we in some kind of danger?” Darcy asks.
It’s the first time in a long time I’ve heard her sound scared.
“No.” Adam doesn’t meet my eyes when he says that. “You’ll be fine so long as you don’t do anything stupid.”
Again, no eye contact.
“Define stupid,” Darcy says.
Adam sighs. “Just keep Lily there.”
“Excuse me, you should be asking me to keep her here,” Lily retorts.
“Fine.” He rolls his eyes. “Both of you keep an eye on the other one. How’s that?”
“I had to talk to him, Katie.” Lily cuts in with a shaky voice. “Please understand that I never wanted to hurt you.”
I roll my eyes at the standard Lily apology. It’s nearly word for word to the last apology she gave me.
“Have you spoken to him?” I ask her, frowning at Adam.
“Not yet.” She pauses.
“And after you speak to him?” I ask.
I glance at Adam. He’s frowning about something, so he doesn’t notice me.
“If he doesn’t tell you what you want to hear, will you slash his tires and burn down the chapel?” I’m being a bitch now, but I don’t care.
