Chapter 4Candi

I’d fall over and roll off this damn bed if I weren’t sitting on this guy’s chest. I’m certain of it. I can’t even look him in the eyes as I shift and try to climb down. His hands grip my thighs, holding me in place.

“Where are you going?” The husky, sexually satisfied tone of his voice is almost enough to make me want to stay here for the rest of the night. The warmth of his breath on my overly sensitive skin is just enough to urge me to move away. His grip remains.

“That was perfect,” the other girl says as she crashes down on the bed beside him.

His eyes don’t shift from mine. Not even when the blonde runs her hand up my thigh. I defer to him. Why I so easily hand that power over, I don’t know.

“See ya later, Legs,” he grumbles, replacing her hand with his.

“Sure thing, Prez,” she purrs with sincere enthusiasm before climbing off the bed.

I don’t look over my shoulder, and neither does he, but it’s easy to tell that Legs is grabbing her things. The hinges squeak when she closes the door behind her, and the sudden silence of being alone together fills the room around us.

“Prez?” I finally manage. “As in the President of the Ravens Ruin club?”

He nods, a quick dip of his chin as a smile spreads his face.

“Believe me, the President of the Ravens Ruin is the last person you should be interested in. My advice would be to steer clear of him at all costs. He’s a devious bastard.” Molly’s words chose this inopportune time to come rushing back.

“Welcome to my clubhouse.”

I stiffen immediately. He doesn’t seem devious, but it’s clear by the welcome that Molly got earlier that she knows more about this club than I ever will.

“You’re trembling,” he observes, running his hand up my thigh until it skates over my stomach and higher to tease my nipple.

I may be sitting on his chest, but I have no false illusions that I have any power over this man.

“The um… the… it was nice. It takes a while for my body to settle after I come so hard.” It’s not one hundred percent a lie, but it isn’t even close to the truth either.

“Pussy eating,” he says. “It’s called pussy eating.”

“Yeah, it was nice.” I shift my weight, trying to show him my intention without angering him, but his grip on me is firm. “I should find my friend and go. Early day tomorrow.”

“We’ve only just gotten started.”

Stunned, I look over my shoulder, seeing his impressive cock laying half erect on his thigh. The sight of the filled condom is a relief as well as mildly disgusting. It’s as if just now, I realize that he was fucking another girl in here.

Does that count as a three-way? Do I get to mark that off my bucket list also?

“What’s got your brow drawing in like that?”

“I’m getting cold,” I lie.

“I’ll warm you back up.”

His bottom lip rolls between his teeth, and hell if I don’t want to stick around for some more of what he has in mind.

“There you are! We need to get the fuck out of here.”

The door swings open as Molly rushes into the room.

“What the hell?” the guy under me swears as he looks around me. “Molly? What are you doing here?”

Pure disgust washes over her face when she sees whose chest I’m sitting on.

“Oh fuck,” I sputter as I climb off him and reach for my clothes. Is he her guy? Did I fuck up assuming that the Briar dude was her untouchable interest? It would be exactly like me to ruin the only fucking friendship I’ve managed to keep the last two damn years. Molly Jenkins is the only person my father has approved of. The only relationship I’ve had that he hasn’t purposely sabotaged right before my eyes.

“Molly, fucking wait!” The guy roars, but we’re out of the door and scrambling out of the hallway before he can roll out of bed and shove his powerful thighs into his jeans. “Get back here!”

We both ignore his command as we hit the front door and jump off the porch. My ankle isn’t impressed with my landing, but I don’t let it stop me. The car is cranked from Molly’s key fob before I even get the door open. I wince when I twist my body to close the door.

Less than a minute later, we’re inching toward the front gate, but it doesn’t open.

“Fuck, fuck, fuck,” Molly chants as her eyes focus on the blackness in her rearview mirror.

She can’t see a damn thing, so I have no idea why she’s hyper-focused on it. Her window whirs as she lowers it.

“Pete, open the fucking gate!”

“Can’t do that, Princess. You know I can’t.” His voice carries a certain kind of sadness, but he’s firm in his decision because the gate remains securely in place.
