My Christmas Doctor

After a shower, I dried my hair and then curled it, so it floated about my shoulders and down my back. Brian had mentioned how much he loved my hair down, so I wore it down more often for him, especially if we were going out. I dressed in a nice navy blue dress that I'd picked up at a Bloomingdale's clearance sale while shopping with Ellie. It sparkled with little iridescent sequins as it swished around my thighs. It hadn't gotten cold out yet, so I wasn't worried about being too chilled and breaking out in goosebumps. Wouldn't that be attractive? White pale skin covered in goosebumps! I laughed to myself as I slipped into my navy blue heels.
Just as I finished my make-up, there was a knock at my door. "Coming!" I called out, as I hurried to answer it. I pulled the door open to see Brian, dressed in a handsome dark grey suit with a blue and silver tie. "Hi, come in," I gestured toward the living area, "I just need to add my jewelry and I'll be ready." I leaned forward and kissed him.
"You look beautiful," he replied, his hand going around my waist. "You don't need any other sparkle but the one in your eye."
I giggled. "You think so, hmmm?" I grinned. "Give me one minute."
"Alright." He moved to the sofa and took a seat.
I rushed back into the bathroom, picked up the earrings I'd already laid out and put them in my ears, then added the matching necklace. They were silver with those fake diamonds, but they were pretty, and I didn't really care if they were real stones or not. I touched up my lip gloss and then headed back toward the sofa.
Brian stood as I approached. "You look delightful." He smiled.
"Thank you, shall we?"
Nodding, he took my hand and as we passed through my kitchen area, I grabbed my purse and keys and then we were out the door and heading to his car. Like the gentleman he was, he opened the door for me and made sure I was in before closing it and going around to the driver's side.
He took me to La Grenouille, a French restaurant that served classic French cuisine. The tables were intimate and romantic, and there was even a guitarist there who played a romantic tune for us. From there, he took me to see a Broadway production of Hadestown. The way the two Greek mythologies had been woven together to tell a story of romance and trust completely enthralled me.
"Brian, this has been an amazing evening," I murmured as we walked back to my apartment. "I really don't want it to end," I added softly as I looked up at him and smiled. I felt so safe and secure with his arm wrapped around my waist. He made me feel cherished and loved. "Will you stay the night?"
We paused just outside my door and he pulled me into his arms, kissing me gently, passionately. A moment later he pulled back and I was breathless.
"Are you sure you're ready for that?" he asked.
I nodded. "Yes, please stay." I pulled the keys from my purse and opened the door.
He wrapped his arms around me and picked me up, kissing me again as we moved through the doorway. He kicked the door closed and turned the lock without breaking our kiss. He moved us into the living area, and I dropped my purse on the counter as we passed through the kitchen.
I kicked off my heels and drew my legs up, wrapping them around his waist. He sat us down on the sofa and continued kissing me as he moved me to my back on the sofa. There wasn't much room, and I broke the kiss with a small giggle. "We can pull the bed out," I whispered.
"That would require getting up, and I rather like you trapped beneath me," he murmured against my lips, sending a small thrill through me. He moved his lips to my neck, as his hands skimmed up my legs, caressing my thighs. "I want to see you," he growled softly against my neck, his tongue tracing my necklace.
I drew in a breath and nodded. As I sat up, he took off his jacket and pulled his tie over his head, dropping them both to the floor. I lifted my dress and pulled it over my head, adding it to his discarded clothing. I started to take off my bra, but he stopped my hand.
"Allow me," he said huskily, a look of lust in his eyes.
I nodded and his hands moved behind me, unhooking my bra slowly as I unbuttoned his shirt, pushing it off his shoulders and exposing his well-built chest. There was a smattering of hair and I glided my fingers through it.
