“OK, Hamm. Your right. I will talk to the girls, and we will come up with a plan. Maybe we can move the merchandise to the building you guys have behind the construction site.” I know he is right, and we need to find a safe space until this is over.
“Thank you, baby. That would be excellent. I will call the guys, and we will move everything. I’m sorry, sweet girl. I know how hard you ladies worked on this.” He kisses me and rocks me back and forth. Although I am ok, I love just being in his arms like this.
“It’s ok, babe. Our family is more important. I love you,” I tell him before walking to clean up my kids. Looking around, I can’t help but feel grateful for my life.
