I let out a burst of laughter as I quickly switch hands, and when Noah pushes the ring on my finger, everything stills in me.

This is the moment I dreamt of for so many nights. This is what I wanted more than anything.

My chin quivers as I look up at Noah. “You’ve always been my world.” I glance down at Haley. “Now you’ve given me the universe.”

Noah presses a kiss to my mouth, and then I impersonate Buzz Lightyear, “To infinity and beyond.”

Noah begins to chuckle. “I knew you were going to say that. You couldn’t resist the urge, could you?”
