She smiled. ‘You already know my answer.’

‘I’d still like to hear it.’

Carefully, Dawn took the ring from his hand and placed it on her ring finger. ‘Yes, Cooper Edwards. I’ll go anywhere and everywhere with you. For ever.’

‘That’s all I’ll ever need,’ Cooper said. ‘Well, that and doughnuts for breakfast.’

Dawn laughed, and he kissed her, knowing their adventure together was only just beginning.
