“Sorry about that, Drake. Didn’t know she was yours.”

Greer’s apology had Bliss grinding her teeth in frustration.

“You two are kidding me, right? Drake doesn’t want me, and the one who does won’t do anything about it, because you’re like a dog that has a bone and doesn’t want it anymore but doesn’t want anyone else to touch it.” Bliss slid angrily off the stool. “Well, fuck you both. I’m going home.”

Drake caught her arm. “You’re right about that. Let’s go.”

Bliss found herself ushered toward the door. The Last Riders sitting at the table watched as her feet did double-time, trying to keep up.

“Rider, stop him.” Her heels tried to dig into the floor as she futilely attempted to pull away.

A wave of his hand was his only response.

She started to yell for Shade, who was sitting at a table with Cash, but she knew it would be useless.

“Train, could you help—”

“Drake looks like he has it under control,” Train called out.

Dammit, how could they just sit there and watch?

She tried to grab a beer bottle from a table close by. She would brain the fucker herself. Her fingertips only managed to knock the bottle over, and she found herself clutching air instead.

Before she could yell at Crash or Moon, Drake had pulled her through the door to the parking lot.

“What are you doing? Have you lost your mind?” Since when did the charming man she had been seeing become as forceful as a biker?

Drake came to a stop next to his sports car. Opening the door, he stared down at her grimly. “Get in.”

“Kiss my ass.”

He gently cupped her cheek. “Get in or go back inside. Not a man inside will touch you after I called you mine.”

“The Last Riders aren’t afraid of you,” Bliss snapped.

“No, they’re not, but I didn’t see a man in there taking up for you, either.”

“I’m going home,” Bliss said stubbornly, smothering the hurt feelings that once, they would have taken up for her en masse.

“Then go. It’s your choice to make. Which is it going to be?”

“Are we going to fuck?”

She could see the fury darken his eyes. Bliss had to admit it gave him a dangerous look that would have sent her panties simmering if she had been wearing any.

“Yes, Bliss, I’m going to fuck you.”

Bliss almost grinned. Greer was good-looking, but Drake had something that appealed to her—namely a six-two, rockin’-hard body she wanted to climb to reach that mouth and suck that bottom lip like a piece of candy. His soft touches and chaste kisses had kept her body in a state of arousal, sending her pussy quivering without even trying, while he hadn’t even sported a hard-on behind those jeans he looked damned good wearing.

“I’ll go with you, then.” She started to get in his car.

“You sure?”

His eyes were warning her, but she had played every game with The Last Riders and the Devil’s Rejects. Drake didn’t have anything up his sleeve she hadn’t experienced before.

“I’m sure.”

The car door slammed as she buckled her seat belt.

As she watched Drake walk around the front of his car, Bliss saw Shade walk out of Rosie’s. Drake paused in front of the car, waiting for Shade’s reaction. Both men looked at her, and Bliss waved her hand at Shade. He nodded, giving Drake a warning gaze before going back inside.

Drake climbed in behind the wheel, closing his own door. Bliss was still staring at the door where Shade had disappeared.

“Something still going on between you and Shade?”

“No.” Her voice broke.

“Then what was that about?”

Bliss shrugged. “He was making sure I was where I wanted to be.”

“And are you?”

Bliss leaned her head back against the headrest. “For now.”

She shivered as she watched his experienced hands put the car in gear and back out of the parking spot. She loved riding on the back of a bike, but watching Drake drive was surprisingly erotic. He held the power of the car in check as they roared down the mountain roads.

“Cold?” Drake turned the heat up higher. That was the last thing she needed right then.

“No, I’m fine.” She stared at his shadowed face curiously. “How did you know I was at the club?”

“Rachel stopped by the house, and she mentioned Cash had told her you were there.”

“Oh.” Bliss didn’t know whether to be angry or thankful to Rachel for telling on her.

“Why did you go there?”

“I like Rosie’s. I go there a lot.”

“Not anymore, unless I’m with you.”

She would do what she damn well wanted to, but she wasn’t about to start an argument with him before she had fucked him. Right after he took care of the ache in her pussy, she would tell him so.

When he pulled into his driveway, she almost jumped out of the car, anxious as she reached for the door handle.
