Love Always

Six months in her cramped little bedroom at her dad's house-made this place seem like the moon. She could be as loud as she wanted then, but with six kids, the oldest fourteen and the youngest just two, that is a thing of the past.
"I'm sleepy," she says, yawning.
"You sleep. I'll go check on the kids," I tell her getting out of bed.
"Hurry back, I could do that again," she says, snuggling into the blankets.
"Alright, babe. I'll be right back." If I know my wife, and I think that I do, she'll be sound asleep, snoring before I get back.
We may have been quick to fall in love, but it's a love that will never fail. I will always love, protect, and cherish her until the day I die.
