GIO (Interracial Rockstar Romance) - Page 76

A minute later, the lights dimmed. Near the stage, everything darkened. I set my glass down as their playing changed into a slower melody, one I remembered from long ago.

Gio’s deep, seductive voice penetrated the air and made me shudder. “Fly with me to Eden. Come slowly.”

I almost screamed like a fangirl. Like I hadn’t fucked or kissed him. I couldn’t fucking believe it. As soon as the lyrics to my favorite song Serpent came out, all I could think of were the memories of listening to this song in my bed. There’d been so many nights when I couldn’t sleep from loneliness and heartache. I’d listened to this song just to soothe my heart. Just to get enough peace to go to sleep.

I raised my hands in the air, shaking my fists, unable to control myself. Hearing this live elevated the experience to another level. I bet many people would’ve spent thousands just to hear it.

The lights illuminated on the center of the stage and there Gio stood. His guitar was slung over his shoulder and all I yearned to do was climb up on that stage and rip off his tuxedo.

Drinking in his gorgeous face, I sucked in a deep breath and let it out slowly.

“Lips like sipping jasmines. Come hold me.” His voice mesmerized my heart. Everyone disappeared in the room and as far as I was concerned, it was only him and me. Both hands covered the mic as he closed his eyes. “You are the one, my flower. I’m lit for you, exploding upon the hour.”

When he opened his eyes, he gazed at me. Heat flushed my cheeks. My thighs were soaking wet, my pussy ready for him as he continued singing to me. “In the bush, twist with me my little serpent. I’m consumed. I’m alive. Baby, I’m burning.”

Lost. I was totally lost. In him. In the music. In the romance of it all. In the moment. In this new beginning because surely, this wasn’t the end.

As if he was trying to give me a heart attack for being so goddamn sexy and perfect, he swung his guitar around with signature Gio swag. “In the bush, twist with me my little serpent.”

He glided his fingers over the taut strings of his guitar. Each note vibrated through my body. “I’m consumed. I’m alive. Baby, I’m burning”

Gio’s voice was pure. Jason had written him amazing songs. Poetic lyrics, yet simple and direct. Every note, every beat was exactly what was needed to capture the essence of music.

He sang two more songs, and I sat there hypnotized.

When he returned, my hunger for food had left. I didn’t even want to hear the orchestra anymore. All I craved was him.

Taking his jacket off, he sat down. “That wasn’t too narcissistic, was it? I know you said you loved Serpent.”

I held one finger up and guided him to come closer to me. He leaned my way and I whispered in his ear, “I want to suck you off right now.”

He snapped his gaze to me. Heat pooled in those eyes. He held his hand in the air. Our server rushed to him, and they whispered back and forth as the orchestra played on stage. But I had no idea what the melody was about. All I could think about was the hunger blazing in my body.

I squeezed my thighs and gritted my teeth.

Gio finished his conversation with the waiter and returned his gaze to me. No words left his mouth as desire decorated his face.

I almost asked him what he’d told them, and then I noticed the waiters rushing onto the stage. Some of the musicians stopped playing. Others continued only to be stopped by the person next to them. Minute by minute, Gio targeted me with his lusty gaze and the orchestra began to disappear, not even putting up their instruments as they rushed off the stage.

Five minutes passed. The auditorium was empty except for him and me.

Gio slid his hands down to my leg, lifted my gown, and slipped his fingertips up my thigh. He watched his hands as they moved over the shimmering material. His eyes were half-closed and dreamy. “Now...what were you saying?”

I spread my legs, welcoming his fingers to my pussy. “I want your cock in my mouth.”

“You’re not hungry?”

“Not for food.” My nipples stiffened and pushed against the silk.

Inch by inch, Gio’s gaze traveled over my body.

I couldn’t take it anymore. I rose from my seat, shocking him. He moved his hands away as I got on top of him, straddling his legs.

“You make me crazy.” I breathed him in and devoured his mouth. He guided his hands back up my gown, pushing it up. The pressure of his hands increased on my thighs.

“Are you wet for me?” he asked.

“Yes, Gio.”

He touched my inner thigh, sending shivers through me. “So, when you decided not to wear panties, what were you thinking?”
