'Oh, Calem, let's get going,' I say, giggling. 'I cannot wait to sleep in a bed with you.'

He looks at me and smiles. I know what that smile means. Sleeping together in a bed alone in our bedroom means that we will have the ability and freedom to love each other again. I smile back at him. We both know that we want it again.

He comes closer to me, hugging me. I look around and see that the warriors are not looking at us. I smile and close my eyes, waiting for the kiss. The kiss is not late. He slowly kisses my lips, making me give out a small moan, as I realize that I have missed his kisses so much. Since spending the night together, we have not had the chance to be alone and to share another kiss. Apparently, Calem has also missed kissing me, as the kiss goes on for a long time. He slowly moves his lips across mine, and I feel every second of the kiss, every small touch, every taste and scent of his warm breath.

When the kiss comes to an end, we both open our eyes and look at each other lovingly. I approach his lips again and repeat the kiss. I know that very soon we will start riding again, and I need to create memories for myself to remember during the ride.

The kiss is sweet and soft. His lips are tasty and warm. I linger on his lower lip, squeezing gently between my lips, and he starts smiling through the kiss.

'I love you, Calem,' I murmur, as he kisses my lips while I say that.

'I love you, too, my sunshine,' he replies.

'Let's go now,' I say. He nods, and we go towards our horses.

Our horses are well-rested and fed. They are also eager to continue the way. As we start riding again, the sun goes down to the horizon, and the sky becomes dark purple. But it takes only a few minutes for the sky to turn dark blue because of the thunder clouds.

'It is going to rain soon,' I hear Calem's voice. I hear it with difficulty, as there is wind, which takes his voice away. I start thinking what we can do in this situation. Maybe we can stop somewhere and spend the night? But there are no villages nearby. Or even if there are, will we be able to spend the night in someone's house? Or maybe we can just go on riding and reach the castle in the morning?

'Calem, what are we going to do?' I ask him.

'We can go to one of the villages and see what we can do,' he replies.

'Are we going to ask for shelter from the villagers?' I ask.

'If we find an inn, then yes, but if not, maybe we will only find shelter for you. The rest of us will spend the night outside,' he tells me.

'No, it is not going to happen,' I shake my head. 'If you stay outside, then I am staying outside, as well. I am not going to the shelter alone.'

He looks at me, and I am sure that he understands that I mean what I say. He knows me, and he knows that I will never do something that I do not want to do. He smiles, and I smile back at him.

The first bolt of lightning lights the surroundings, and a few seconds later comes the noise of the first thunder. We continue going, until the first drops of rain start falling.

'There is a village to the side,' Calem calls out for all of us to hear. 'Let's go and find an inn there.'

Without a word, we all start going in the direction of the village. In a matter of a few minutes, we are already inside the village. It is already raining heavily. The people are in their houses, and there is no one on the streets, which is normal, given the fact that it is raining.

Calem is always quick and knows what he is doing. This time it is not an exception. He quickly manages to find a small in the middle of the village, and we hurry inside. The server comes forward to take our horses into the stable, and we enter the hallway of the inn.

Inside, it is pleasantly warm and light. The small lanterns on the walls are the only source of light in the inn. It is not full, as most of the people are in their houses, but there are a couple of people there.

Calem speaks with the owner of the inn and finds out that there are two free bedrooms on the second floor. We are happy that we will sleep in a bed. The three warriors occupy one bedroom, while I and Calem go to sleep in the second bedroom.
