Right now, my main focus is to get this first meet between my wife and Roxana out of the way so that we can move on. I’m not sure what the girl’s plans are after she does what she came here to do, but I’m sure Jason isn’t about to let her leave here.

That little hiccup wasn’t planned for. I didn’t foresee the two of them getting together, didn’t know the boy was going to fall ass over heels in love with her at first sight, but if she turns out to be a good one, as I’ve come to expect, then it works out perfectly.

“Breakfast should be ready soon, let’s go find the others.”

“Are we eating on the lanai or inside?”

“It’s being set up outside, but if you’d prefer…” She kissed me on the cheek in passing. “No, that’s fine. I just have to go get cleaned up and changed first.” She disappeared out the door and went to go do just that.

Thank fuck! I didn’t want to say anything since she’s a little touchy about the subject, but she’d grown with the pregnancy in all the right places and was practically falling out of that damn top she’d worn to do her yoga in. I try not to body shame her but having so many men around, even ones that I trust, while my wife is looking ripe, is not what I call restful.

I’m not sure if any of the others are having the same issue; then again, this isn’t the first time we’ve all been here together like this, though there are a few newcomers. Besides, each man here is well seasoned on the marriage front… “Kat, what dafuq? Upstairs, downstairs, wherever it is, go change that shit.” Oh well!

“Colton, what’s wrong with it?” I stepped into the doorway in time to see Katarina Lyon looking down at herself. One arm spread as the other was filled with one of the triplets. Lyon was holding the other two while his youngest son held onto his leg and was grinning around it at his mother, who looked ready to brain her husband.

From what I could see, she was wearing some kind of sheer looking thing in bright yellow with white shorts underneath and what looked like a bikini top. It was perfect beachwear, I guess, but Lyon didn’t seem to think so. Just then, Todd, their son in law, came down the hallway with Caitlin’s hand in his. The kid Katarina was holding held out her arms to him, and they did a smooth pass off as if they’d done it a thousand times before.

“What’s going on, dad?” I hid my smirk at the way the kid called Lyon dad. He’s been doing that a lot lately, and either Lyon didn’t notice because of the battalion of kids already calling him that, or he’d softened tremendously in the last few weeks.

His twin sons, Aiden and Quint, were next to make an appearance, and as no one had noticed my presence as yet, I stood there and enjoyed the show. “Here, you two take these since your nasty asses wanna play with people’s daughters. You three are responsible for the three of them for the rest of the day, see what your as… see what you’d be in for if you fu… mess up and get some girl pregnant.”

He glared at Todd when he said this, and the boy was brave enough to grin and kiss the cheek of the baby in his arms. “You; let’s go.” He grabbed his wife’s hand and started dragging her back towards the stairs. “Colton…

“Mom, what’re you wearing? Dad?” Aiden asked out loud, sounding like Lyon take two.

“See what I mean?”

“Look here, Neanderthals, we’re at the beach. This is pretty covered up. I could’ve worn a bikini…”

“Kat, I’m on three hours sleep, and I have a headache, don’t fuck with me.”

“Stop swearing in front of the kids.” Lyon rubbed the bridge of his nose and sighed.

Arianna and her husband came up the stairs just then and joined the melee. I wonder if any of these people remember that there’s an elevator that runs between floors? “Hey, what’s going on, we having a party in the hallway? Why do you guys still have the kids? Didn’t the staff come get them?”

No sooner had the words left Arianna’s lips than two women made their approach. Words were exchanged before only Cody was given over. Lyon still insisted that his sons and son in law cared for the triplets for at least a couple of hours to put the fear of fatherhood in them.

“But dad, we wanted to go down by the water and play some touch ball.”

“Tough, you wanna play adult games, this is part of being an adult. Next time you two…never mind. You can get a feel for the consequences of your actions if you slip up. Todd, there’s a whole body of water out there and a ton of places to come up missing, don’t get any ideas about my kid.”
