Rough (Wolf Ranch 1) - Page 47

In front of us, a small, fifteen-foot waterfall dazzled, dropping freely over a moss-covered rock lip to feed what appeared to be a deep pool.

He looked my way and grinned. “I know, darlin’. It’s private property, Old Man Shefield’s land. Wolf Ranch is his next-door neighbor, so I’ve been coming here since I was a tot. He died a few months ago, sadly.”

I turned around and looked east. I couldn’t see the house for this property or any of the buildings on Wolf Ranch. He leaned close and pointed over my shoulder.

“Wolf Ranch is that way.”

“This is one of those things you did as a kid? Roamed free and got to come up here with your brothers?”

I turned back around, took in the water. It would be called a pond because of the size. It was perhaps only thirty feet across. Excess water escaped over the bank and made a little stream that went down the hillside.

“Sure did.”

I could envision Boyd as a boy, pale tousled hair and gangly arms and legs, running after his older brothers and splashing in the water. It had to have been such a carefree childhood. Until—

“Do you swim here?” I asked, steering my thoughts away from what had happened to his parents. I wondered if he came here much after their deaths.

“Yes. Feel the water. You won’t believe it.”

I walked to the water’s edge, squatted down and stuck my fingertips in. “It’s so warm! Is it a hot spring?”

He nodded, then tipped his chin. “Yep. The waterfall is runoff and cold as hell. Beneath it, coming out of the ground is a spring. Water’s really hot, so careful if you go in that corner. It all mixes together to make it just right. I’ve even come here in the winter.”

I looked up at him, wondering if he was teasing me. There were hot springs all over the west and in this area, the same underground source that fed Yellowstone’s hot springs and geysers. Most were public and made into baths, but this…

A private oasis.

I dipped my fingertips in. The water was perfect, like a tepid bath. “This is incredible!” I shouted.

Boyd chuckled. “I know it is. Aren’t you glad you finally agreed to let me show you around?”

Yes. For more reasons than one. I just hadn’t expected a tour like this.

I started stripping off my clothes. “Last one in is a rotten egg!”

Boyd whooped and tore off his jeans and t-shirt. I stopped to admire him as I’d yet to see him naked. My eye was drawn to the white bandage over the place he’d been gored. I would’ve sworn it was a little lower below his ribs, but I must’ve remembered wrong, just like how injured he’d really been.

Despite my doctorly concern, my attention shifted to his exquisite body. The guy was perfect. His shoulders were broad, his chest muscle-packed and hairy—as manly as they came. His waist was narrow, and that pale hair tapered into a line that went straight to his groin. His legs were strong and powerful, but it was what hung between them that had me drooling.

That had been inside me? I knew he was big, my pussy ached and throbbed from his rough use, but that? Wow. It was practically a baby arm that jutted from a thatch of hair a few shades darker than on his head. Thick and long, his dick started to swell and grow from my observation. I flicked my gaze to his, and he was watching me. Grinning. He just stood there, lacking any amount of modesty, and let me take him in. He was naked as the day he was born except for his signature cowboy hat on his head. The crown of his dick was flared, a reddish tone that from even ten feet away, had pre-cum oozing from the narrow slit.

And for some reason, he was into me. So into me his dick now curved up toward his belly. Below, his balls were large and pendulous, showing off his virility. He’d come not twenty minutes before, but they looked heavy and full as if he had more for me.

I licked my lips and had to turn away because I’d drop to my knees before him and take him into my mouth. No. Swim first, suck later. I took off my glasses and dropped them on top of my clothes.

Perhaps he was in agreement, for we both ran into the water—Boyd with his hat still on—and I gasped as I suddenly lost my footing on the smooth bottom. Concern flitted over Boyd’s face until I laughed.

“It’s deep!” I was up to my shoulders, and I moved my arms over the surface making little waves.

He was at my side in a flash, lifting me into a floating baby cradle, turning me around. I loved the feel of his arms around me, his chest hair tickling my back. “It is. Perfect for diving off that ledge.” He lifted his chin toward the top of the waterfall.
