Elissa was looking back and forth between us, but every time I met her stare, she looked away quickly and blushed again. It was pretty fucking funny, actually. She couldn’t look me in the eye at all.

“Well, if you’ll excuse me,” I said with a wicked grin and even wickeder follow-up, “I’m gonna go masturbate in the shower.”

Elissa’s mouth dropped open, and her eyes bugged out like a frog’s. I couldn’t help myself, so I walked over to the couch, grabbed Tria’s chin, and planted a good one on her mouth before I sauntered out of the room, untying my sweats as I went.

“Oh my God, Liam!” Tria yelled after me. “The worst part is that he’s probably telling the truth!”

With a laugh, I shut the bathroom door behind me.

“Tria, you minx!” Elissa whispered in far too loud a voice for me not to hear. “That’s your boyfriend?”

“Uh huh,” Tria replied, and she giggled again.

Fucking schoolgirls.

I smiled as I turned on the water, because I kind of liked it.

After the shower and a quick jerk-off, I stood in front of the mirror and rubbed at my chin. I grabbed the razor and made quick work of the day’s worth of growth and then brushed my teeth. When I walked back out, I paused like a creepy little stalker and listened to them talk.

“I just don’t see how you are not doing him,” Elissa was saying. Her voice was quiet, and I might have felt bad for eavesdropping, but the topic was just too interesting. “I mean, you live with him, you’re dating, and he has got to be one of the hottest guys I have ever seen in my life. He’s older, he’s seriously built, and sexy as fuck. Why aren’t you jumping his bones?”

“We’ve done some stuff,” Tria replied quietly.

“That’s a man who needs it all,” Elissa replied.

I wondered just what sort of man I was supposed to be and whether there were any out there who didn’t need it all.

“It’s not that simple,” Tria replied quietly. “I just…don’t feel ready. I mean it’s exactly what you just said—he’s old

er and, well, gorgeous. Do you realize how many women he’s been with? How am I going to compare to all that?”

“Tria,” Elissa said with a sigh, “he’s not with those girls. He’s with you!”

“I know that,” she said, “but I…well, I don’t have any, you know, experience.”

“Ohhhh!” Elissa drew out the syllable for way too long. “Well, you certainly have the opportunity! Just go for it!”

“Yeah,” Tria grunted, “go and make a fool of myself.

“I doubt he’s going to mind what you do,” Elissa assured her. “I mean, he’s a guy, right? From the last couple of boyfriend’s I’ve had, they’re pretty happy with whatever they can get. Besides, lots of guys think that’s really hot to be with a virgin.”

“But it’s still a risk, isn’t it?” Tria asked. “I mean, if he…if I…well, if I suck at it, then he can probably replace me in about thirty seconds. He gets all kinds of offers every time he works. They buy him drinks and ask him out all the time. If what he has here is…mediocre…why not take one of them up on it?”

“Are you serious?” Elissa said in a harsh whisper. “Aren’t you more afraid if he’s not getting any here, he’ll find it somewhere else?”

“A little,” Tria admitted. “I don’t really think Liam is the cheating type, though. I think he’d just tell me to get out if he got tired of waiting. He keeps saying he’ll wait.”

“You are crazy,” Elissa declared. “It sounds to me like you want him, and he’s happy to give it to you.”

Yeah, I almost yelled out loud.

“I’m not used to that,” Tria responded. “No one’s ever really wanted me. At least, never wanted me for me.”

“Well, I’m telling you right now,” Elissa said, “that man wants you.”

There was a pause in the conversation, and I figured I probably ought to make myself known. I was already feeling a bit low for listening in, so I reached behind me and closed the bathroom door with a bang before walking back out.

“Getting a lot of homework done?” I asked.
