Goldie and the Three Wisconsin Bears
Page 30
The truth is, I always threw the “Don’t Come” game before, just so I could sleep alone. But not with Goldie.
But despite my jealousy, Nico and me are still a natural team. I toss the two washcloths to my brother, and he takes care of both himself and Goldie. In a total sex daze, she pumps a little against his hand when he brings the towel down to her pussy. And I watch, somehow getting hard again, as Nico plays with her under the pretense of cleaning her up.
She’s so damn sexy. I honestly don’t think I’ll ever get enough.
Which is why the first thing I say the next time I get Nico alone is, “We’ve got to do something about Jeb.”
We’re in the kitchen, making an early dinner since the three of us slept right through lunch.
“Agreed,” Nico says, so quickly, I know the subject must have been on his mind too. “But what? I figured he’d come around by now, but he’s being stubborn. I think Charlotte dumping us really threw him for a loop.”
Really? The truth is, after just a few days with Goldie, it feels like we dodged a bullet. It was never like that with Charlotte. Ever. Also. “He always acted like it was a chore to fuck her. Why would he care that she left us?”
“I don’t know,” Nico answers. “Maybe he blames himself? Whatever the reason, he’s holding back with Goldie even though I know he wants her. You see the way he looks at her when she’s not looking.”
Yeah, I do. Like a bear. Starving for something to eat.
And that gives me an idea….
Chapter Fourteen
JEB
I wake up with Goldie in my arms. It’s a dream. Of course, it’s a dream. And since it’s only a dream, I pull her in closer.
But then she sighs. And wiggles her butt into a certain part of my anatomy. And that formerly soft flesh immediately rises to let me know….
This is not a dream.
My eyes pop open, and sure enough, Goldie’s curled up against me in the pitch black, her warm, soft body under my arm, her head tucked under my chin. I’m a former Army Ranger. I wake up if a cricket chirps the wrong way. But somehow, here Goldie is, sleeping peacefully with soft breaths that almost sound like purrs.
At least she’s purring until I yell, “What the hell are you doing in my bed?”
She jerks awake. Then flips over. Hands grasp at me. Then there’s a gasp when they find my beard. “Oh, my God, Jeb? What are you doing here?”
“What are you doing here? This is my room!”
She squeaks a little, like one of those sorority girls in an 80s horror movie. Then she asks, “How did I get here?”
One guess.
I turn over, grab my flashlight from below the bed, and aim it at the door. And sure enough, there’s a post-it. It only has two words written on it in Mitch’s sloppy handwriting.
YOU’RE WELCOME
“Sonofabitch!” I curse.
“They just left me in here. With you? Like this?”
Like what? I turn the flashlight on her. Big mistake. Of course, she’s sitting up in bed. Naked with her glorious tits on full display.
I let out a harsh breath and answer, “Yeah, that’s exactly what they did.”
I know they’ve probably locked me in here. But I try the knob anyway. It turns, then catches on the padlock I never use. More curses, fouler than Wisconsin winter, come streaming out of my mouth.
“I’m sorry.”
I turn the flashlight out on her again. She’s moved to the very back edge of the bed, and she has the sheet pulled up to her chest. “I can’t believe they did this.”
I can’t believe they did it either. “This shit is straight out of a 90s sitcom.”
“How long? How long are they going to keep us here?” Goldie looks even more petrified than she did when I caught her in the shed.
That gives me an idea. I pound on the door and yell out the top of my lungs, “Hey, you motherfuckers, let us out! I gotta pee!”
No answer.
I try again. “Goldie’s gotta pee!”
Still no answer.
But Goldie says. “Do you really have to go to the bathroom? I can turn around to give you some privacy, and maybe you could pee into a cup or something.”
My heart stutters. Damn, why did she have to do that? Act like my discomfort was something she cared about?
“No, I don’t have to pee,” I admit. “I was just seeing if it would work. You gotta go?”
She shakes her head. Then frowns. “Usually, Nico and Mitch keep me hydrated, but yesterday…they barely offered me any water.”
She seems to be realizing they had this situation all planned out as she says the words out loud. She shakes her head, looking more confused than scared now. “But I still don’t understand why they’d do this. You hate me.”
