Alice And The Colonel - Page 16

“You’ll see,” he said.

Edmund opened a drawer in the tallboy, turning around he held up in his hand his chosen tool.

Alice blanched. “Clippers!”

“Yes. Did I not say I would trim your little bush?”

“But why? For what purpose?” asked Alice, bewildered by the notion.

“Patience,” said Edmund grinning. “Now spread those lovely legs apart, lift your bottom onto the pillow.”

She complied out of curiosity. Common sense told her otherwise.

He placed a linen cloth beneath her bottom, brought over a candle, and carefully placed the light source on the bed. Then he settled between her legs, resting on his side. Between his finger and thumb, he collected a tuft of hair and with a quick snip, cut it off.

She watched as he systematically worked his way about her pussy, shortening her hairs until they were more like bristles.

He gave her thigh a small stinging slap. “There, now I see you much better.”

The candle and clippers were put to one side and he knelt between her legs. Alice’s heart thumped with a familiar passion. Earlier, over the saddle, she had been so close to her climax as he pounded her from behind, now she keenly sought what she had failed to achieve earlier.

Edmund lifted up her legs, hitched them over his shoulders and swathed his mouth directly over her tender clitoris.

Alice let out a small cry of surprise and immediately slumped in ecstasy. He rimmed her sopping sex with his tongue, pinched her clitoris between his teeth and sucked hard on her. Never had she realised such wanton pleasure could be had from a mouth. His hands held her thighs tightly and she was supported from underneath by nothing but her shoulders.

She could hear his lips as he tasted her, as if she were a vessel to be drunken from and devoured. It made her even lusher below and her legs began to shake violently with an imminent orgasm.

She could not help her scream. She didn’t care if the servants heard it way below in the basement. The pulse lasted on and on, as he flicked his tongue repeatedly over her throbbing clitoris. Again, the sense of completion rose and another wave of uncontainable spasms hit her body, leaping out from between her thighs and consuming her whole body.

“Please no more!” she screeched as her delicate organ grew painful. The entanglement of pain and pleasure confused her senses. Did it mean she wanted more or less? He saved her from finding out by lowering her back down. He entered her, gyrating his hips as he pushed his way into her clenching vagina. His mouth focused on her breasts, neck and lips as he stole kisses between thrusts. Unlike his feverish thrusts over the saddle horse, he took his time. The candle burnt down as he languished in her, stopping and starting, holding off his ejaculation with incredible control and teasing taunts.

She and Edmund tumbled about the bed, giggling sometimes as if drunk, squeezing each other’s flesh and then caressing gently. For a while, she basked on her belly, while his fingers delved inside, moving briskly. At the same time, he nuzzled his face in her loose hair. All that was lacking from their lovemaking were the accompanying words of adoration. The poetic expressions of passion were absent from their discourse and Alice longed for them.

Alice shifted her exhausted body on to her back and smiled wearily at her husband.

“I’ll be quick,” he told her as he parted her legs. Edmund re-established his occupation, quickened his thrusts and achieved his climax, bringing about another satisfactory end to their lovemaking.

“I shall enjoy bedding you every night,” he said as Alice snuggled against him.

“Every night?” she asked, amazed by his energy.

“Quite achievable for a man like me,” he boasted, tucking his hands behind his head. “I am quite accustomed to riding a horse for hours on long marches.”

“So, I am nothing but a horse!” she said with mock indignation.

“A very fine filly, my dearest. I will never tire having my legs about you. Now, sleep and do not worry about today’s misdemeanour. I am not a man to hold grudges. Tomorrow is another day.”

Chapter Six

Summer seemed tantalisingly closer. The sky, heavy with stormy humidity, held off the rain clouds and allowed the sun to peak out from time to time. Trees, filled with bright green foliage, swayed in the constant breeze. Two weeks since the wedding day and the days had found their own routine. On the rain free days, Alice took to walking about the garden, onwards to the deer park and then to the outskirts of Buxton. Edmund had forbade her from walking farther.

His days were spent in matters of his estate and other investments. It was in the evenings when they spent their time together, mostly in the bedroom. During her monthly course, he left her alone, content to hold her in an embrace while they drifted into sleep.

However, the lack of variety in her daily routine let her to make another request.

“Please, may I visit Buxton and familiarise myself with the town?” Another luncheon conversation and immediately she could see his response would be negative. His mouth drooped into a frown of disapproval.

“I have been absent for a long time. I wish to re-establish my own status in town before introducing you to society.” He picked up his knife and continued to dine without glancing at her.
