I wave my hand in front of him. “Whoa, what the hell are you doing?”

“You want to see it. Isn’t that what you want? You’re jealous of the other girls.”

“No.” The air is practically sucked from my lungs. “Not even close. I just don’t understand why you lead every conversation with sex. It’s like you’re so afraid of anyone getting to know you.”

“Because every time I let someone in, they get scared and walk away. So, I figure I might as well show them what they’re getting up front and save both of us time.”

“Save both of you time from what?”

“The inevitable,” he says, getting out of his Escalade.

Drake rushes around to my side and opens my door. He extends his hand to me, and I don’t even hesitate to thread my fingers between his. For a reason I can’t comprehend, I allow him to hold my hand as he walks me to my dorm. And I don’t stop him when he follows me up to my floor.

I lean back against my door, peeking up at him. He’s so gorgeous my throat closes up. Unable to move or think, I stand there in the hallway. People are spilling out from the rooms around us, and I can hear a few parties at the end of the hall still in full swing.

“Do you want to… um, come in?”

I have no idea why I’m inviting him into the apartment I share with Bex. She’s not home to stop me from doing something stupid.

He nods, his chest rising and falling.

Once we step inside the entryway, Drake shuts the door behind us. He has me pinned against the wall before I know what’s happening. Gripping both of my wrists, he raises my arms above my head and presses them against the wall as he inches his way to my mouth.

“Drake,” I mutter. “What are you doing?”

“If I don’t fucking kiss you, I’m gonna die. You’re killing me, Taylor.”

I close my eyes and suck in a deep breath before blowing it out of my nose. His body tenses against mine, and the fact that I didn’t tell him to fuck off makes my intentions clear. He can kiss me. Hell, I want to kiss him too. I’ve tried so hard to suppress my emotions, but the alcohol isn’t making it easy.

Staring into his eyes, I flick my tongue over my lips. With that simple gesture, he lifts me up, carrying me toward the back of the apartment, where two doors lead to Bex and my bedrooms.

“Which one is yours?”

“Left,” I say, my body humming with electricity.

“But we’re not having sex, so let’s get that straight right now.”

Drake nods and then kicks the door shut. Gripping my ass with both hands, he staggers over to my bed. He lowers me onto the mattress and settles between my thighs, his erection pressing against my leg through his jeans. The feral look in his eyes sends an immediate rush of excitement throughout my body, and my core clenches in response.

Grunting, he sucks on my bottom lip like he’s going to make good on his promise to eat me. I wish he would right now. The magic he’s working between my legs has me wound so tight I feel like a twig about to snap in half. He tugs on my bottom lip and then drags his tongue along my skin, ripping a strangled moan from my throat.

Cupping the side of my face with his left hand, the other roams down my stomach. A ripple of pleasure rolls over me in waves. Drake handles me like someone with experience, and here I am with close to none. Testing my limits, he slips his fingers beneath the waistband of my spandex shorts. I want to push him off me. Every rational part of me says to stop. But my mind isn’t doing the thinking right now.

My body comes alive like a lit firecracker, every part of me ready to explode. Drake is too much. Too big, too manly, too damn sexy for his own good. He smells like clean linen and spicy aftershave, a combination that has my hormones raging out of control.

Slipping his tongue into my mouth, he rocks his hips against me. The long, hard length of his cock digs into my thigh, and he groans every time I move my hips to meet his. For a second, I consider the situation. What am I doing with Drake? Why did I invite him up to my room?

Technically, I guess I didn’t ask him to follow me upstairs. I thought he was walking me to my door, and the next thing I knew, he had my arms pinned above my head against the wall ready to devour me.

I separate my lips from his, moving my head to the side, but he kisses my neck instead. “We shouldn’t do this, Drake.” He drags his teeth along my skin, ripping another moan from me. “We shouldn’t…”
