“Damn right you are.” I put one hand to his face, loving the way his scruff felt under my fingertips. Miles was handsome when he was clean shaven but with a bit of overgrown facial hair? Let’s just say if I wasn’t already pregnant, I would have been. Soon. I smiled at that thought and let my fingertips brush back and forth on his strong jawline. “A future that starts right now.”
We kissed right there on our indoor picnic, sealing our promise of forever and all the things it brought with it. A new baby. A growing family.
