The Havoc We Wreak (The Four 3) - Page 49

NINETEEN

Tray in hand, I scanned the cafeteria for my boys. Looked like I was the first to arrive. I stalked over to the table by the window that we always sat at. “Sorry, mate. You need to move,” I told the guy sitting there, and he jumped up, gathering his tray and slinking off to another table. Yeah, I was a dick sometimes, but if I didn’t assert my control, then others would try to take my place, and I wasn’t about to let that happen. “Thanks,” I belatedly threw out after him, hearing my girlfriend’s voice in my head, berating me, and he responded with an angry huff, sliding into his new seat.

I tried.

Eventually, Cassius walked in with Zayde and joined me at the table.

“This burger is fucking gross,” Cassius complained, pieces of said burger falling out of his mouth as he spoke.

“Do you mind? I don’t wanna see your half-chewed food, thanks.” I pulled a face at him, and just because he was Cassius, he opened his mouth even wider.

“C-Cassius? Zayde?” Cassius immediately closed his mouth, as a girl I’d never seen before stood at the edge of our table, swallowing nervously as she took us in. She held a pile of books in her arms, and…was that a pencil tucked behind her ear? Did people even do that in real life?

Shaking my head, I turned my attention to my phone as she mumbled something to them about an assignment they were partnered on or some shit, scrolling down to my text conversation with my girl.

Me: Where are you?

I saw the three dots appear straight away, and I smiled, waiting for her reply.

Snowflake: On my way. Waiting for Weston. Kinslee’s coming too. Is there space for her?

I looked around the table. Only two seats were available, since some fucker had taken the others.

Me: Yeah, but you’ll have to sit on me

Snowflake: I think I can deal with that *kissing emoji*

I threw my phone on the table and turned to my boys. The random girl had disappeared, and we fell into an easy discussion about football. I was so engrossed I didn’t even notice Weston sliding into the chair next to mine until he was already sitting.

“Alright, bro?” He cocked his head at me.

“Yeah, you? Where’s Winter?”

He nodded in the direction of the food counter. “There.”

I forgot about him as my girl appeared in my eyeline, and I raised my head to watch her strolling over, looking sexy as fuck in the tightest jeans known to man and a thin knitted blue jumper that showcased her tiny waist and perfect tits. Her hair was up, swinging in a long ponytail, and I had a sudden vision of gripping that ponytail and bending her over the table while I fucked her from behind.

I adjusted my dick, trying to stop my wayward thoughts. Getting a boner with my brother sitting next to me, in a crowded cafeteria full of students, wasn’t ideal.

“Hi.” Winter smiled at me as she came to a stop next to my chair and placed her tray on the table, before her face fell. “I just thought, I can’t sit with you because people might see.”

“Fuck them. Hyde isn’t here, Granville won’t say anything if he knows what’s good for him, and if anyone else says anything, I’ll make sure they regret it.” I tugged her down onto my lap. “You’re mine, baby, and I want you here with me.” I trailed my nose down her neck, her skin soft against mine. “I think Dad’s making way too big a deal out of the whole thing. I doubt anyone here even cares.”

She twisted open the cap on her bottle of water. “Yeah, you’re right.” Glancing around us, her voice lowered. “Actually, you might be wrong about that. If looks could kill, I’d be dead.”

I snorted. “Yeah. I can’t help being a catch. You know all I see is you.”

“I know.” I could hear the smile in her voice.

“Anyway, you’re not the only one getting jealous looks. Look at the guys.” I moved my mouth to her ear, and she shivered. “They’re all wishing they were me. Wishing they got to have you sitting on them. Knowing that later you’ll be riding my dick, while they go home to their sad little lives.”

“Caiden!” She pretended like she was outraged, but she couldn’t stop the smile spreading across her gorgeous face.

I shrugged. “Just saying it like I see it. It’s all true.”

She shook her head. “I’m just gonna eat my food while you sit there and let your head grow even bigger.”

I laughed and picked up my drink. She fell into an easy conversation with Kinslee, and I sat back, holding her with one hand, sliding my fingers under her clothes to caress the soft skin of her stomach.
