The Havoc We Wreak (The Four 3)

“It’s the perfect place,” I reassured her, giving her a soft kiss.
“I can’t believe no one will tell me what’s going on. You do realise this is permanent, right? It’s not like I can just wash it off if I hate it.”
I lifted her wrist and kissed it. “Baby, I wouldn’t let you get anything marked on your skin that wasn’t going to look fucking perfect. Trust me.”
She smiled. “I do. Okay, go for it.”
“Close your eyes,” Mack instructed, cleaning the area, before applying the stencil he’d prepared earlier. The familiar buzz of the needle filled the space, and I grinned.
“All done.” Mack wiped over the area he’d tattooed, and my girl’s eyes flew open.
“Can I look?”
Mack glanced over at me, and I nodded. “Yeah.”
She lifted her wrist, and stared in silence for the longest fucking minute of my life, before her eyes filled with tears, and the brightest smile lit up her face. Fuck. She was so beautiful, like the sun coming out after a storm.
“What does this mean?” Her voice was all shaky as she sat up, studying the Roman numerals inked on her skin, identical to mine, Cassius’, Weston’s, and Zayde’s.
“It means, you’re officially, one hundred percent, permanently one of the Four. An unbreakable bond. You’re ours, and we’re yours, and we’ll protect you with our fucking lives.” I spoke the words hoarsely, the significance of the moment affecting us all, as we all stepped closer to her. Mack moved away to give us our privacy, and I took her hand, placing it on top of mine. The boys placed their hands on top, one by one.
“We love you. We’re family,” Weston added, throwing his arm around her.
“Forever. Ride or die, babe.” That was from Cassius, who flashed a quick smile at me, before kissing her head.
“You’re one of us.” Zayde gave her a smile, allowing her the rare glimpse of emotion in his eyes. The tears spilled down her cheeks, and she smiled at him, mouthing thank you.
“I—I don’t even know what to say.” Her words were choked, and she brushed her tears away with a smile. “I never expected this. Fuck. I love you all, you know that, right?”
“We know.” Cassius grinned at her. “Wonder if we’ll get some shit at uni for being known as the Four still, even though there’s five of us now.”
I smirked. “Like we give a fuck. I say we get home and celebrate our new fifth member.”
Yeah. Everyone was in agreement.
Later that night, I watched Winter as she talked and laughed with Kinslee and Lena, happy and carefree. She’d invited them over to celebrate with us, and e
veryone was a bit worse for wear. Everyone other than me, that was. And my girl, since I kept watering her drinks down. I wanted her to be aware for every moment of what I had planned.
My eyes raked over every inch of her. Dressed down in her yoga pants and tiny, tight white top, her hair tumbling down her back, and her eyes shining, she was so sexy that I’d had a semi all fucking evening looking at her.
She caught my eye, and her gaze drifted down to my sweatpants. Her eyes darkened, and she licked her lips, tilting her head suggestively.
Enough.
I jumped up, stalking straight over to her and scooping her into my arms. “We’re going to bed,” I announced, just so none of those fuckers got any ideas about following us. Although I think it was pretty obvious what my plan was.
She laughed and buried her face in my neck, clinging on to me tightly. I carried her out of the room to the sound of cheers and borderline inappropriate comments, heading up the stairs to our bedroom.
“You’re fucking mine, Snowflake.” I dropped her onto our bed, moving over her, sliding between her legs.
“Always,” she moaned, hooking her ankles around me. “You’re the only one I want. The only one I’ll ever want.”
My girl. She owned every single piece of me. I stopped grinding against her and met her eyes, meaning every word that came out. “I see you.” I kissed her. “Only you.” I kissed her again. “You’re mine. My whole world.”
“Yours.”
After that, there was no more talking.
