"It'll be nice to have three children in the house," Eugenia laughed, rising.

"Three children?" Drew asked, swinging around to face Eugenia.

Eugenia knew the implications of her words. "Not mine, Drew," she laughed. "Nell and Adam's, and Iris's, when she has hers."

"Nell, and Adam's?"

"You remember Nell and Adam?"

"Yes?"

"They married."

"I'll be damned," he muttered. "And Iris?"

"Now that's a long story." Eugenia laughed nervously.

"A long story?"

"One you'll hear about, I'm sure," Eugenia answered. "And now. I'm going to take Jessica around to show her off. One of my maids will show you to a room. Please make yourself at home."

"Thanks, hon," he said warmly.

Eugenia's brows furrowed hearing the familiar note to his voice when he called her "hon." She couldn't help but feel an ache in her loins remembering his mouth, his fingers, the pleasurable feelings his manhood aroused in her. She had missed it for oh, so long. She hurried out of the room.

Chapter Twenty-six

It seemed to Eugenia that night had fallen more rapidly this evening. She had been relieved to hurry to her room, to seek the much needed privacy, to get away from the looks from everyone. Looks of questioning where Drew was concerned.

She snuggled beneath her blanket, feeling the aching need almost wracking her body. She had fought it off all afternoon, had evaded his touch, his look of want. She had thought she had been able to conquer her feelings about him, but now she knew that she had only been fooling herself, that she could honestly never get over needing him. And now that he was living, sleeping, under the same roof as she… ?

Feeling her heart begin to pound fiercely, she watched as her bedroom door opened slowly. His shadow was identifiable against the dim lighting of the hallway behind him. She didn't say anything when he shut the door behind him. She was barely breathing, waiting for him to stretch out beside her.

"Eugenia?" he whispered from above her.

"Drew," she answered. "Please leave my room."

"Eugenia, we have to talk."

"Tomorrow, Drew," she said, swallowing hard, clutching tightly onto the blanket. "Tomorrow."

"Now," he said hoarsely. Then with one jerk, he had the blanket pulled from atop her.

"Drew, please," she pleaded, unable to see him, or what he was doing in the darkness. She could imagine. When he lowered his unclad figure over hers, she tried to pull away, but was held in place by the thickness of his muscles.

"Just remember how much I love you," Drew said, ripping her silk chemise from her body. Then with his knees, he forced her legs apart.

"Drew, don't take me like this," she sobbed.

"It's been too long, Eugenia."

One downward plunge and his manhood was inside her. She bit her lower lip nervously as she felt the pressure building up inside her, wanting to not let herself enjoy it, afraid of being used again by him.

His lips crushed against hers making the bed beneath her turn to a warm nest of feathers, making her feel as though she were being carried upward into the sky. She searched with her fingers and found her breasts and began to push them against his chest, needing the feel of his body on every inch of her own. She then lay limp, as though drugged, as he pulled from her and began the descent downward with the wetness of his tongue, biting and teasing the erectness of her nipples, then on downward until she wrapped her legs around his head, almost going wild as his tongue brought her to such heights of ecstasy that she no longer cared about what tomorrow might bring.

"Oh, Drew, I've missed you so," she moaned, tangling her fingers in his hair, pulling it, then pushed his head closer to her as her world burst into a smooth, flowing stream of warmth. She lay there, panting, when he entered her roughly, and with three thrusts, she met his pleasure as their bodies became one large spasm.
