"Because it's all you'll ever think about?"
"Of course." I try to sell it as a joke.
But she doesn't buy it.
Chapter Twelve
Cam
I have to give it to Sienna. She knows exactly what she wants to do with this party.
And the coup d'état: A bondage themed burlesque routine slash strip tease, choreographed to an Amy Winehouse song.
Only—"I don't know where you hire strippers. Do you? You must," she says.
"In the States?"
"Like you've never taken a rich client to a strip club."
"I'm the rich client." And no. I don't go to strip clubs. I'd rather get to the point. Find someone, take her home, get a jump on hating myself and her.
"Okay, like no one's ever taken you to a strip club."
"Not here." I have been dragged to some London clubs. I understand the appeal of naked women grinding against poles, even if it's not my thing. But making it a group activity? That, I don't get.
"Maybe we should ask Eve." Her nose scrunches as she says Eve. "She used to work at a club, didn't she?"
Ian's girlfriend Eve worked as a cocktail waitress at a strip club when they met, but how does Sienna have that information? "She knows some dancers."
"I'm sure she and Ian can figure it out. Unless you'd rather do it."
"I'll make it happen," I say.
"Do you think we should reserve the club?"
"They won't rent it out on a weekend."
"If you pay enough, they will."
"So kind of you to volunteer my money," I say.
She laughs. "What would it cost?" she asks. "A few thousand dollars? That's nothing to you."
"I appreciate value."
"Then reserve it on Tuesday morning."
"You really see Ty skipping work for that?"
"For his one and only bachelor party?"
That's a fair point. "I have a better idea."
She raises a brow.
"A hotel. Ty and Indigo can use the room after."
"And we can surprise them with an under the bed restraints kit?"
"Thoughtful."
She presses her lips together. "Okay. A hotel. I like it."
"On me."
She looks at me obviously.
It is obvious. I have a lot more money than she does. But it's still strange having someone shoot me that look.
It's refreshing.
It's pure Sienna.
Fuck, I really like her.
I swallow hard. "Do you have specific instructions for the dancers?"
"The artist, the bondage theme, just enough embarrassment. Otherwise, they can go crazy."
"No full penetration?"
"Ty would kill all of us."
He would.
"Does that really happen?"
"Do sex workers put on shows for a fee?"
"Yeah, stupid question." She presses her lips together. "Do guys arrange that for bachelor parties?"
"Some."
"Would you?"
"Not my thing."
She motions go on.
Shit. I cut off the question—what is your thing—before she can ask. "I prefer dick lollipops."
"Really?"
"What's not to like?"
She raises a brow I think that's obvious.
"It's candy."
"And you eat candy?" She gives me a slow once-over. Stops on my waist. "I've seen you out of that suit."
"You haven't seen me naked."
"Not yet."
Fuck, I walked into that.
"I've seen enough to know you don't eat candy."
"And you?" I ask.
"What about me?"
"What about you? Really?" My eyes go to her strong shoulders. Her bare stomach. Her long, curvy legs.
Her chest heaves with her inhale. "What about me?"
"You inhale sugar."
"Yeah."
"You still look like a football player."
"What's that mean?" she asks.
It means I need to try harder to avoid her. But I don't. My eyes stay on her thighs.
She stammers. "Uh… my point is, you don't eat candy. You don't even put sugar in your coffee."
"And?" I ask.
"Do you like men?"
"No."
"So why would you deep throat a lollipop?"
"I'm not going to deep throat it."
Her cheeks flush. "No. Just the tip?"
"Do men still use that line?"
"I don't think so." She blushes. "No one's ever tried it with me."
She's been in a position for it. Been with someone?
Jealousy buzzes through my veins. I hate the thought of her with someone else. Ever.
And especially since she kissed me.
Did it mean nothing to her?
Am I that out of my fucking mind?
I bite my tongue so I won't say something I can't take back.
"They have pussy pops. That might work better for you." Her eyes flit to the bedroom. "But they might inspire Ty so much they go right there."
"In the other room."
"We have multiple rooms?"
"Of course. A suite."
"Of course." She laughs knowingly. "Sometimes I forget I'm surrounded by rich people."
I understand that. I didn't grow up with money. My father was in the military. Like Ty and Ian's father.
We did okay. We were never hungry or on the verge of losing our home, but we were careful with money.
Then Ty and Ian formed their company and asked me to run their London office and—
All of a sudden, I had enough to buy anything and everything.
"You'll get used to it," I say.
"Maybe." She looks to the window. Studies the darkening sky. "Shit, what time is it?"
I check my watch. "Six forty-five."
"We're meeting at seven?"
"Yes." Have I really been here for hours?
"Shit." She slides off the couch. "I hope my dress is dry. Ty picked this place?"
