“Sweet thing.” I still shiver when my husband says my name. I turn and smile at him.
“Hey yourself, handsome. How was work?”
“Better now that I am home with you.” His mouth meets mine, and I melt into him. I love his hands and mouth on me.
“Mmm. I missed you, babe.”
“I missed you too. How are my boys?”
“Napping. They should be up soon.” He looks down and rubs my burgeoning belly.
“How are my babies?”
“They are busy. Moving around.”
“How long do we have until dinner?” he asks, pulling my shirt off my shoulder as he nips at it.
“About twenty minutes.” Moaning, my head falls back when his mouth makes contact with my nipples through my shirt. “Why?” God, this man drives me crazy.
“I need a minute with my woman.” He falls to his knees and raises my skirt, pulling my panties down. Stepping out of them, I rub his head. I love seeing him below me. “You smell like my woman,” he says, raising up and sucking my nipples. Then he moves back down my body.
“Thor.” I try to calm myself, not wanting my kids to wake up.
“Shh. Baby. We don’t want the hurricanes to wake up, yet. I haven’t had my welcome home present.” His tongue spreads my pussy lips, and he licks me over and over, dipping into my pussy and teasing my clit. His fingers pinch my nipples, driving me crazy because they are so sensitive.
“I can’t be quiet. Shit,” I tell him, moving against his mouth. His finger slides inside of me, and I light up. When his tongue licks my naughty hole, I erupt. I can feel my body gushing all over him as I shake and cry out. He kisses my pussy once more before kissing my belly and licking my nipples once more. I reach for his belt, but hear our boys storming down the stairs. He hurries and picks up my panties before fixing my clothes.
“Tonight, it's my turn,” he whispers to me and kisses me once more before going to the boys. I love my life.
Chapter Four
Thor
1998
On any given day, there are thirteen kids running around the house. With my seven, Bill, Torrin, Erik, Erika, Loki, Hank, and Sven, as well as my six little brothers, Hagen, Om, Brand, Danhy, Tori, and Troy, there is never a dull moment. As an only child for so long, having little brothers at this age is awesome. They are going through the same milestones as my own kids, and it really is the more, the merrier.
Our oldest, Bill, just turned eighteen. He’s been going out with Elaine Brubaker. I don’t get those two. They are more like friends to my mind, and I don’t understand wasting time when she’s not his forever. He’s the quarterback of the football team, and she’s the cheer captain. On paper, it makes sense, but she’s too high maintenance for him. He likes things to be orderly and straightforward. She likes expensive things and chaos. He finds me in the den watching a baseball game. He has that serious look on his face that belongs to a much older man.
“Hey, Dad, can I talk to you for a minute?”
“Sure, son. What’s on your mind?” I ask, turning the TV off. I can already tell that this is going to need all my attention.
“I am asking Elaine to marry me, and I was wondering if you could help me with a downpayment on a house over on Third Street.”
“You’re asking Elaine to marry you?” I ask, dumbfounded. Why would he do this to himself?
“Yes. I have to,” he says.
“You have to? What the hell does that mean?”
“She’s pregnant.”
“I see. That’s wonderful news. You know, it’s not the fifties. You don’t have to marry her.”
“I know, but it’s the right thing to do.”
“Do you love her?”
“No, not right now, but I am sure I will, in time.”
“That’s no way to live your life, son,” I tell him. I don’t know what I would do without the love of his mother. That love grows stronger every single day, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
“I have to. I want to be a pastor, you know that. What kind of pastor would I be if I didn’t do the right thing? Everything will be fine.”
“If this is what you really want, of course, your mother and I will help you, Bill.”
“Thanks, Dad. It’s the right thing to do, I know it.”
He leaves the den and I know in my heart he’s making a mistake, but kids have to learn on their own. When you tell them one thing, they do another. As much as I hate this, I have to let this play out on its own.
Later that night, after the circus that is bath time followed by bedtime, the younger kids are in bed. Bill is out with Elaine and Torran is out with friends.
