Greedy Girl (7 Deadly Sins)

“Thank feck,” he says, licking my neck. I tilt my head back as much as I can and let him alternate between kissing, biting, and sucking on my skin.
The way he’s making me feel is beyond anything. He protects my body from view, and he gives me everything. I swear I can see stars on a starless night.
I don’t need or want anything fancy; I just need him. I’ve never been more grateful that thirty-seven dollars only gets to you Nashville from Cincinnati. I would never have met him if it wasn’t for that. I’ll thank God every day for bringing us together.

Five Years Later
“Come in,” I call gruffly. My girl has been out of town with her sister on a shopping trip for over a week, and I am about to lose my mind. I am sure my brother is just as on edge as I am, but he hasn’t bothered to come into work all week. The asshole is probably following the girls around Biloxi like a fucking stalker. I have been working on my stalking tendencies and let my Kitty take her first trip without me since we met. I haven’t slept, and I am pretty sure I’ve worn a hole in the carpet in our bedroom with my pacing. We’ve been married for five years with a four-year-old son, Kian. He’s with the nanny, Tilly, for the night. She’s fifty-five and reminds me of my grandma; may she rest in peace.
My office door burst open, and I look up, wondering who the hell would open it like that. I am pleasantly surprised to see Kitty standing in the doorway, wearing a long jacket. She smiles at me and closes the door behind her. Standing, I walk around my desk and over to her. Before I can reach her, she pulls the belt on the coat open and lets it fall to the floor. She’s completely naked. Fuck, I am a lucky man.
“Welcome home, lass,” I say, looking her up and down. She’s so fucking beautiful, and I’ve missed her so much.
“Thank you, Kellen,” she whispers. “It’s so good to be home. I had fun, but I missed my boys so much.”
“We missed you too. To what do I owe this delicious gift? I ask, gripping her hip and pulling her close to me.
“I got some news this morning and made Kieran and Keke come home.” I knew that fucker was down there.
“What kind of news?”
“I’m pregnant,” she says. We’ve never not tried to get pregnant. We got pregnant very quickly the first time, but it’s not happened again, not for lack of trying, though. I wrap my arms around her and hug her to me.
“Mo shíorghrá,” I say, kissing her. My eternal love doesn’t quite cover what I feel for her, but it’s a start. “You humble me, make me a better man. Thank you for letting me love you.” I kiss her again. She tastes like Cherry Coke and sin. That kiss is quick to turn to passion, like they all do. Taking her down to the floor, I strip quickly and slide into her. A week without her, there’s no way I can last. She’s wild as I fuck her. Her nails dig into my back, her heels into my ass.
I love my greedy Kitty. Her greediness has made me a more charitable man, but I can be just a fucking greedy, if not more so, when it comes to her.
For the rest of my life, there will never be another for me. Kitty completes me in a way I thought only existed in fairy tales, but I have never been happier to be wrong before.

Fifteen Years Later
Our fifteenth-anniversary party is well underway. I didn’t realize we had so many friends, probably because I’ve never seen them all in the same place before.
We rented a hall, but everything has spilled back into 7 Deadly Sins. The music is pumping, and I am dancing with my man. He holds me close as we move to the latest Justin Beiber song. That man has done nothing but churn-out hits since he grew up. Then the music switches to an old school alt-rock song, and I move to the bar. Layla, the newest bartender to grace us, hands me a Kitty, my signature cocktail consisting of Gin, Peach Schnapps, tonic, and lime. KeKe has one too. Our guys were nice enough to add them to the menu.
Our oldest son is nineteen and in college in Boston now. Our youngest, Killian, is fourteen and plays JV football at the high school. We still live in Murfreesboro in the house Kellen was building when we met.
Every day our love has grown. I never thought love was real. He consumes me, and I need it. The look in his eye right this very second lets me know what’s about to happen. He takes my hand and leads me out of the club and into the backseat of his truck.
