My orgasm exploded through me, and I cried out. My walls tightened around Logan, and after a few more thrusts, he shouted his own release, releasing his seed into me. His cum coated my insides as my insides tightened and milked him.

I don’t know how long I laid there on top of the blanket, sweat coating my body, my breathing heavy. I realized that he’d pulled out and now lay beside me. He wrapped the blanket around us, trapping our warmth.

I rolled over and ran my hand along his chest. He shivered at my touch.

“Thank you,” I said quietly.

“You’re welcome.” He gave me a warm smile.

“Not just for the sex,” I said, nuzzling his neck. “Though it was great.”

“What for then?”

“This whole trip. I needed to get away, needed a break, and this was the best break ever.”

Logan laughed. “You’re welcome again.” He winked. “Anytime you need a little break, I’d be happy to help out.” He waggled his eyebrows.

I laughed softly.

As he rubbed my back, I thought over what he’d just said. He’d laughed and played it off as a joke. Was that the truth? I was the one who kept insisting that what happened in Tokyo had to stay in Tokyo. I couldn’t be sure, but Logan seemed like he wanted more.

But I couldn’t handle more. I knew that, which was why I had told him what I’d told him. But it’d be hard to go back to what we were before when we returned home, especially after the wonderful sex we’d had and the fun times together.

My heart poked my brain, telling me I could have a future with Logan if I wanted, but I pushed the idea out of my head. A little fun on a quick vacation wasn’t anything more than that, and I would do well to remember that.

I needed to be realistic. I was just letting a few wonderful days and great sex cloud my good judgment. I had to remember I had a daughter to think about. Nothing wrong with a little fun in the meantime, but I shouldn’t read more into it.

Still, I realized I should get my fun in while I could.

I sat up and smiled down at Logan. “I’m ready for another round.”

“You’re insatiable, woman.”

I suck out my bottom lip. “Is that a no? I don’t care how sore I am. I need you again.”

He pulled me and planted a long kiss on me.

It was time to make another great memory.

Chapter

Twenty-two

LOGAN

Sunday night, on the final leg of our flight, Emily was gripping my hand so tightly, her knuckles turned white.

I couldn’t blame her, even if I wasn’t as concerned. The wind shear and turbulence had been terrible the final ten minutes. Lightning flashed in the distance. Our good day of travel had turned uncomfortable at the last stretch, but I figured if we could at least get on the ground, that would help her calm down.

The plane lurched as we hit another pocket of turbulence. I’d traveled enough to know that what felt like some epic drop was usually only a few feet and that it had no real effect on the control of the plane.

“It’ll be okay,” I said. “We’re almost there. Just a few more minutes.”

Emily nodded quickly, her lips pressed tightly together.

I glanced out the window. The pouring rain and dark clouds made it impossible to see anything. Maybe if Emily could have actually seen something, it would have made her feel better. I was confident in the skill of my pilot, but I figured telling her that wouldn’t do much to quell the visceral fear afflicting her. It’s not like she’d flown with the guy dozens of times.

The plane jerked, and Emily yelped. She managed to grip my hand even harder, which impressed me.
