It was sanctuary.
Chapter Seventeen
Luna
“Well, well, isn’t this not surprising,” a voice said, far away in my dream.
“Let me see,” another said.
“Oh my god, look. Our Easty-poo is all grown up, guys,” a different deep voice inserted.
I rubbed my eyes and wiggled, burying my nose in Easton’s chest and inhaled. He smelled so powerful, something about that pine scent had my body going crazy.
“Aw, she’s sleepily trying to get close to him. You can’t say that isn’t adorable,” another chirped in.
Easton’s arms tightened around me, making me feel safe and secured. I felt his semi-hard cock under my leg since I was laying on top of him. Who needed a mattress when I had a hunk of a man? Easton kissed the top of my head, and I grinned. The voices snickered in my dream, and I didn’t like that.
“What the… get the fuck out! Out! You damn assholes!” Easton shouted with so much anger that his chest rumbled, and the vibration woke me up. He had his arm protectively wrapped around me, and then gripped the sheet that had fallen down my back, up to my neck to cover me. “You better get the hell out!”
“Woah, calm down,” Zeke said.
Zeke.
I gasped and fell to my side, gripping the sheet to my chest as I stared at three Moore brothers standing at the end of the bed. All of them had their arms crossed and smiles on their faces.
“We didn’t see anything,” Ezra said, rolling his eyes. “We came by—”
“—To check on you since you weren’t answering your phone,” Zeke finished.
“Guess we know why.” Ezra winked at me, and Easton let out an annoyed breath.
“Will you guys get out? I’m fine,” Easton said, dropping his hand to my leg and squeezing.
“We see that,” Evan finally spoke up. You had us worried. Hi, Luna.”
“Yeah, Hi, Luna!” Ezra and Zeke said at the same time, waving at me in u
nison.
“Hi,” I said, my face burned, and I knew it was cherry red with embarrassment.
“We are going to be downstairs,” Evan said, then pointed at the sheet. “One of you guys are bleeding a little. Luna, check his bandage please before you come downstairs for breakfast.”
“Breakfast?” Easton asked, then checked the time, and his eyes widened. “Holy shit, it’s tomorrow.”
“Tomorrow? Oh my god, I need to check my phone and let everyone know where I am. I bet they are worried sick.”
“Nah, you’re good. I told them ya’ll were together,” Zeke said as he backed away toward the doorway. “Everyone knows what Luna and Easton are doing.”
Everyone.
I gulped.
“Get out,” Easton hissed, throwing a pillow at his brothers. “Jesus, have some respect. This is Luna we are talking about here. Get the hell out before I throw you out.”
His protective instincts had the sore space between my legs throbbing and ready for another round.
The Moore brothers whispered under their breath as they walked out the door, and as Evan closed the door, I saw a crooked smirk tilt his face.
