I ate my breakfast while being treated like a queen. Jesse and Blue massaged my legs until they were tingling and Mayor Danvers worked every tired muscle in my shoulders. When I finished my meal, they rolled me over on my stomach and started to massage my back. Six hands untangled all of the knots that had formed from the previous night. Luther took my tray and headed downstairs. All I could do was lay there and enjoy it. I was too exhausted for anything else, even with a night of sleep. When I felt a pair of hands started to massage my ass, I grimaced a little bit. The effects of the spanking were still present and it was a little tender, but it wasn’t bad enough to take away from the massage. Their hands seemed to be guided by magic and by the time they took them away, I felt like I needed a nap because I was floating on a cloud of bliss. I heard footsteps in the hallway and I turned my head to see Luther at the door.
“I’ve prepared your bath.” He pushed the door open and motioned for me.
“I need a bath, but I’m so tired.” A sigh rushed from my lips.
“We’ll help you.” Blue leaned down and wrapped his arms around me.
Blue’s powerful arms lifted me off of the bed and I locked my hands behind his neck. The bathtub itself was nothing special, but there were bubbles floating on the surface of the bathwater. Blue put me on my feet and helped me climb inside of it. The massage had been amazing, but the feeling of the warm bath was almost nirvana. The four of them started to tend to me before I even had a chance to react. Blue started washing my hair while Luther massaged my feet again and washed my legs. Mayor Danvers and Jesse used a sponge to wash my back and my breasts. I might have been hesitant about the arrangement, but being pampered like a princess made me feel like I was the only person in the world that mattered to them. Once I was clean, they dried me off and used a hairdryer to blow away the water in my hair. I sat down in front of the mirror and dug into my purse to find my travel makeup kit.
“You guys are spoiling me...” I blinked a couple of times and shook my head in admiration. “I could get used to this.”
“You’ll have to.” Jesse leaned over and kissed me on the top of my head. “We intend to spoil you rotten.”
Chapter 12: Major
I lit a cigarette as soon as I walked out of the house. I hadn’t even noticed that I had been without my vice since the previous night. Samantha had made me feel something special and it seemed to wash away all the bullshit I normally dealt with. I didn’t wake up during the night with the tightness in my chest I always felt when dreams of Afghanistan haunted me. Nobody told me about that when they talked about how important it was to serve my country. I wore my uniform proudly. I defended a flag that stood for something when I left home, but all it represented when I got back was death. I respected the men I served with, but I had no idea how hard it would be to watch men I spent every waking hour with die at my feet or get blown up when they stepped on an IED. Every day I woke up with those images fresh on my mind, but they were almost where they should be after my night with Samantha—they were becoming memories instead of horrific nightmares.
“Are you okay, man? You look like you’ve had your first good night of sleep since you got back to Granite Falls.” Steve walked out behind me and lit a cigarette of his own. “It actually worries me to see you this calm.”
“Yeah. I’m feeling surprisingly well. I can’t explain it.” I shook my head and exhaled smoke as we walked towards Steve’s truck.
“I can.” Steve smiled. “It’s called Samantha.”
“Maybe it’s just because I got laid?” I chuckled and opened the passenger door.
“You’ve gotten laid before.” He climbed behind the steering wheel and cranked up the truck.
“It has been a while, but yeah, I know that isn’t it.” I rolled down the window and looked back towards the house. “She’s amazing—damn, I never thought I would feel that way about someone after I got back home.”
“The fact she was able to squash the shit between Axe and my brother proves it.” He took a drag off of his cigarette and flicked ashes out the window.
“Do you think it will last? She gave your brother one hell of a deal to put that crap to bed for good. If he doesn’t keep his end of the deal...” I shook my head back and forth slowly.
“My brother might be an asshole sometimes and remind me of my father when he isn’t having a great day, but he’s honorable. There is no way he would go back on his word, even if it meant putting Axe away for good.” Steve adjusted himself in his seat and let his hand rest on the steering wheel.
“Do you think the rim for Samantha’s car is here yet?” I blew smoke out the window and looked over at him.
“Yeah, it is. I got a text from the delivery company. I’ll work on that and you work on the mayor’s Cadillac. With any luck, we’ll be drinking by the afternoon.” He nodded and smiled. “Not that a drink is what I’m thinking about right now.”
“You and me both.” I chuckled as my mind fixated on Samantha’s beautiful curves.
Steve and I went to work the second we got to the shop. There was an urgency in our step that neither of us usually demonstrated when we were working. Steve finished up her tire fairly quickly and then came over to help me install the rod in Mayor Danvers’ Cadillac. It required a bit of work, but we worked in tandem like a well-oiled machine. It was late afternoon by the time we finished. Steve was covered in less grease than I was, so he cleaned up and decided to drive the Cadillac while I drove his truck. It was unsaid from the moment we arrived to the time we left, but I could tell we were both thinking about Samantha. Being apart from her sucked, especially after the closeness we shared the night before. I was jealous that some of the other guys were able to spend the entire day with her, but it was more of a jealousy towards the separation than the guys themselves. I hoped they had taken good care of her during the day and she had been pampered like the wonderful gift she was. I decided to swing by the market and pick up some flowers—when I pulled into the parking lot and saw Steve exiting the market with a bouquet in his hand, I had to laugh.
“Great minds...” I stepped out of his truck and tilted my hat as I entered the store.
“You know it.” Steve smiled and walked towards the Cadillac.
There was a thump in my heart when I stared at the row of flowers. Steve had gotten a wildflower bouquet, but I wanted to give Samantha some roses. They had a bit of a price tag, but I didn’t care. I couldn’t believe how absolutely giddy I felt just standing in line with a dozen roses in my hand. I had never bought flowers for anyone before. I hadn’t even considered it. Romance was like a whole new world unfolding in front of me and I couldn’t wait to see the look on her face when we arrived. I paid for the flowers and walked back to Steve’s truck. It wasn’t a long drive to the house, but I pushed the pedal down to make sure I got there in record time. It wasn’t like I was going to get a ticket—Sheriff James was one of us and he wouldn’t pull over his brother’s truck anyway. I pulled up to the house and saw Samantha on the front porch, sitting on a swing that wasn’t there before. She was holding the bouquet Steve gave her, but when I stepped out with roses her eyes lit up and a gorgeous smile spread across her face.
“Thank you so much!” She took them in her hand and stood. “I love them.”
I pulled her into my arms and stared into her beautiful eyes. My lips were moving towards her before I even thought about the kiss and when I felt the passion on her lips, I wanted to take her upstairs. My cock sprang to life in a second, pressing against my jeans while our lips formed a perfect seal. The rest of the world just seemed to melt away with Samantha in my arms. All of the things that normally weighed so heavily on my mind just faded out of my subconscious. I squeezed her tight, pulled her against my chest and continued kissing her. The kiss lasted so long that I could feel my head getting dizzy before I finally pulled back. Samantha took a step and practically staggered, obviously reeling from the kiss as much as I was, but I pulled her close and wrapped my arms around her.
“I missed you.” I whispered softly into her ear.
“I can see.” She sighed and ran her fingers through my hair. “I missed you too.”
