“Yes sir.” My voice was shaky and my knees wobbled when I stood.

I walked to the corner and pressed my nose against the wall as I was instructed. There was a strange feeling of humiliation in that pose. All of my shame, or at least the naughty cheerleader’s shame, was on full display. I could feel the heat radiating from my ass. It wasn’t a particularly hard spanking. It seemed quite light, considering the nature of the crime. Perhaps I would have felt different if it didn’t turn me on so much. Even standing there with my nose against the wall kept the desires inside me flourishing. I heard Dante walk towards the door, and then his footsteps echoed as he walked down the stairs. As much as I enjoyed exploring a new side of myself, the spanking didn’t inspire me to seek out another trip across his knee until I had time to recover. I was definitely going to remain in position as I was told to do.

Even if I’m already trying to figure out how naughty I have to be to get one more before I leave this Funhouse.

“You held back. Her ass wasn’t even red when I put her across my knee.” Dante walked into the kitchen and grabbed a beer from the fridge.

“Yeah.” I nodded and sipped the beer in my hand. “Sorry, man, I just couldn’t bring myself to put much effort into it. I didn’t want to really hurt her.”

“You stopped at three?” Dante twisted the top off his beer and tossed the cap. “There

wasn’t anything you could think of to let her earn a few more swats?”

“I figured it was best to ease her into things.” I sat my beer down on the counter and shrugged. “Besides, I’ve seen how you are. She probably appreciated my leniency.”

“Truthfully?” Dante lifted the beer to his lips and took a sip. “I held back too.”

“Mr. Herrington would be disappointed.” I laughed under my breath. “And his wife would scold you.”

“Probably.” Dante chuckled and nodded. “I gave her enough for it to be real, but I stopped after that. Not that I really had to—she was wet as fuck.”

“I can’t say I’m surprised.” I leaned against the bar and shrugged. “She did seem to like spending time across my desk.”

“Maybe we should ask her which one turned her on.” Dante winked and sipped his beer again. “I bet she’d say she liked what I did to her more.”

“Probably so, but I think we’ve given her enough punishment for one night. I’m ready to move on to something else.” I reached for my beer. “I’m sure she is as well if she’s as wet as you said.”

“Yeah, I agree. She’s had a taste, so she will know if it’s something she enjoys. That’s what the Funhouse is really about, right?” Dante lifted his beer again.

“Yep, exactly.” I nodded and agreement and tipped my beer towards him.

“I guess Mr. Herrington would be proud, knowing that one of his paddles survived this long and was used to show another young woman how much she could love the things his wife was begging for.” Dante chuckled and pointed towards the journal. “She really got into it as the years went on.”

“Brianna had a much nicer introduction to it, at least.” I nodded and stared at the journal. “I can’t even begin to imagine how it was for someone back then. At least this generation grew up with it being normalized.”

“I read something last night about how she wondered if her husband was possessed by a demon, and then later on, she wondered if it was actually her that was possessed.” Dante shrugged and sipped his beer. “It’s no wonder this family couldn’t hang onto their house. They were all kinds of fucked up.”

“Just born in the wrong era, I guess.” I sighed and lifted my beer to my lips. “All right, are you about ready to go pay her a visit? What’s she doing anyway, sleeping it off?”

“No.” Dante chuckled. “I put her in the corner.”

“Oh, you’re evil.” I shook my head and laughed under my breath.

We had two rooms left in the Funhouse and they would involve both of us spending time with Brianna, which I was definitely looking forward to. Dante’s fantasies might have been a little more interesting than mine, but I had that flicker of dominance coming to life when I used the paddle to punish Brianna. It reminded me of the man I was before I fell into the trap I called love. Unfortunately, it wasn’t an easy trip back to the light. Thinking about Brianna was sending my thoughts into a tailspin and I had to keep reminding myself that we were only going to have one night together. I felt myself wanting more. I knew it was foolish, especially after my last relationship went down in flames, but it was hard to fight the feelings that were trying to grow inside me.

At least I have Dante here to ensure that I don’t make that kind of mistake again.

Dante and I walked up the stairs together. I headed to the room that was set up for the next stage of the Funhouse and Dante went to retrieve Brianna. Based on the way his voice echoed through the walls, I assumed he was giving her quite a scolding before he finished up that portion of the fantasy.

I was shocked to hear that he held back. I figured I would be the only one that did. If he held back, then he was making it more about her than he let on. He wasn’t even releasing the beast that liked to play with toys like her. Maybe my thoughts weren’t entirely misplaced. We used to joke about finding the perfect girl to share when we were in college, I just never thought it would happen. If she would have come into our lives back then, our story might have went an entirely different direction.

But can’t dwell on what might have been—the present is right in front of me.

“Okay, we’re all set. You remember the point of this room, right?” Dante walked in and headed to the chair opposite mine.
