“What about the apartment building? That doesn’t really fit the pattern.” I leaned back as I studied what Kincaid was writing on the board.

“It’s an anomaly, but not completely unrelated. The guy who owns it now is just some real estate mogul, but he bought it from someone who got out of real estate when they got into the hedge fund business.” Kincaid turned back towards me. “Olivia Adams.”

“Ah yes, the woman that Marissa embarrassed at the auction.” I nodded quickly.

“One in the same.” Kincaid walked over and sat down. “So, we have a lead—but I’m not sure what we do with it.”

Kincaid and I spent the rest of the day searching for some sort of clue that would lead us to Fireball. We felt like we were close, but there were still missing pieces. We worked well into the night, slept for a few hours, and were right back at it. Unfortunately, it all ended with Kincaid’s epiphany. We even brought in Detective Lewis on the theory, and he did some checks against the police database, but didn’t come up with anything useful. By Friday night, we were frustrated and tired. Other cases were coming in, and we checked them for connections to the fires that Fireball was responsible for, but it was a round of dead ends. We agreed that we were just spinning our wheels at the station and set our sights on the one thing we both needed—our date with Marissa.

Marissa

Saturday night

I was officially done as Ms. Stone’s secretary. She hired a new girl that would start on Monday and I was going to be an Account Manager. I was really hoping that Kincaid and Donovan would come up with something on the Fireball case, especially after the owner of Livingston Capital became one of his targets. They had ideas, but nothing that was taking them further than theories backed up by a lead that went nowhere. Nonetheless, I was still looking forward to our date, and overly excited when they told me that they still wanted to go out on Saturday night. I tried to forget about Fireball and focus on that. I hoped they could do the same. They deserved to have fun and get their mind off of things. The case was going to drive them crazy otherwise. I needed to get my mind off of Monday and my new job—there would be plenty of time to stress once I had so much money riding on every decision I made.

And if things go the way I think they will, I probably won’t be a virgin when I walk into work on Monday.

I had been thinking about my virginity a lot since our last date was cut short. Their lips started a fire and the embers were still red hot inside me. If I felt that same fire roaring to life again, and things were allowed to escalate, I wouldn’t be able to turn them down. I was ready, but I was struggling with what it would mean. I wanted them more than I had wanted anything before in my life, but I really liked them. Would a relationship even work between the three of us? I always got lost in my own head when it came to relationships. I never learned how to live in the moment. It was time for me to let go of my inhibitions and do what felt right. I trusted my instincts at the auction when I put Olivia Adams in her place. I was going to trust them again and hope that they led me down the right path—even if that meant I was doing something I never dreamed of before I met Kincaid and Donovan.

“We’re picking up where we left off, I see.” I walked into the same bar we met in before and saw that they had a pitcher of beer on the table.

“The date got cut short. You didn’t even get to see how rowdy this place can really be. We just won’t be able to stay long, or it’ll get overrun with college kids.” Kincaid grinned as he stood up and hugged me.

I won’t argue if we call it an early night—especially if the three of us leave together.

“We might be able to squeeze in a few trips to the dance floor before then though.” Donovan winked at me as he hugged me once Kincaid broke our embrace.

The date picked up exactly where the last one ended. We had a beer and then started to dance together. Once again, their bodies pressed against me on the dance floor and there was a lot of teasing—touching—then a kiss. Donovan was the first one to kiss me, but Kincaid didn’t hesitate to pull me into his arms once Donovan was done. The fire was raging, and I could already feel my panties getting wet. Thankfully, they gave me a reprieve and we grabbed another drink. We looked over the menu, but I wasn’t hungry for anything that they could offer at the bar. I wanted the delicious men sitting across the table at me. The look in their eyes said they wanted the same thing I did. We paid our tab and I followed them outside. Donovan went to get his car and Kincaid pushed me against the wall. His lips started to devour mine and by the time Donovan pulled his car up to the curb, I was more than ready to climb inside.

“We’re going to have so

much fun making you come.” Kincaid joined me in the backseat and started kissing my neck as soon as Donovan hit the gas.

“Don’t start without me.” Donovan turned back towards us and smirked.

Kincaid didn’t listen to his best friend. He continued kissing my neck and pushed a hand underneath my dress. His hand felt amazing on my skin. It made me shiver inside while my skin sizzled. His hand moved further up my thigh—inches from the wetness that had started to spread between my thighs. It was finally going to happen. I was going to lose my virginity. Kincaid pulled me closer and his lips moved from my neck to my ear. He nibbled my earlobe and then let his finger graze the front of my panties. He found out exactly how wet I was, and I heard a chuckle resonate in his throat. He started to kiss me, crushing my lips with an intensity that made my back arch, so I could be closer to him. His tongue ravaged my mouth and made the fire burn even brighter. He twisted the fabric between my legs in his hand and then pushed a finger into my pussy. He was rough, and it startled me at first, but when he pushed against my hymen, he was the one that was startled. He pulled back from our kiss and his face twisted into a look of confusion.

“You’re a virgin?” Kincaid blinked in surprise.

“Wait, what?” The car veered slightly as Donovan looked back with a look of shock etched on his face.

“Yes.” I nodded and tried to read his expression. “Is that I problem?”

I can’t tell if he’s happy about it or if I’m about to get dropped off at the nearest street corner.

“No. That’s not a problem at all.” Kincaid shook his head back and forth.

Oh thank god—I don’t know what I would have done if they started a fire and left it burning again.

“That just means we get to show you magnificent it can be to have your body worshiped—it’ll be even better with two of us.” Donovan chuckled, and I felt the car start to accelerate faster.

He seems even more eager to get me back to his place now.

Kincaid’s passion returned immediately—possibly with even more ferocity than before. He pushed his finger inside me until it was against my hymen and started to move it slowly. That sent a tingle through my whole body. His thumb swirled around my clit in a circle. The combination was even better. I started moaning and squirming in the seat as pleasure swept through my veins. When I masturbated, I controlled those sensations. I made my finger go faster if it felt good or concentrated elsewhere if it got too sensitive. Kincaid’s touch was rough and once he found the magic spot where my clit was extremely sensitive, he started to massage it directly. My pussy squeezed on his finger and ripples of pleasure made my pussy practically gush with my desire. I wrapped my arms around him and my fingernails dug into the back of his shirt. The pressure that normally built right before I erupted came fast and I started moaning even louder.

“You’re going to make me come.” I bit down on my bottom lip and gasped.

“It’ll just be the first of many.” Kincaid kissed my neck and kept his finger moving against my clit.
