He reaches out to dust his thumb over my bottom lip. “How did you get so beautiful?”

“It’s all that come I’ve been drinking.”

He laughs out loud and it’s a wonderful sound.

“So, your bathrooms are getting redone?” I ask.

“They are.” He leans in and kisses me, clearly bored with that topic.

“How many nights are you here in the hotel?”

“Seven.” His eyes hold mine, as if he’s deep in thought, and then he kisses me again. “Stay.”

“What?

“Stay with me for the week.”

“Why?”

“Because I want you to.”

I smile softly as hope blooms in my chest, I know this is a bad idea. I should be running away but I can’t make myself.

I cup his face in my hand, and my lips take his. “Okay.”

I wake to the buzz of an alarm.

I glance over to Sebastian’s phone on his side table. He frowns and switches it off before he reaches for me, pulls me close and kisses my shoulder.

“Morning.” I smile, my cheek up against his.

“Good morning.” His voice is deep and husky, his eyes remaining closed. “Let’s stay in bed today.”

“I wish. I have a lecture.”

He looks up at me. “What are you studying?”

“Law.”

He raises an eyebrow, as if surprised.

“What?” I smile

“I never pegged you as a lawyer.” He sits up in bed. The blankets pool around his waist, and my eyes drop to his dark, broad chest. “What year?”

“End of my second.”

“One of my best friends is a lawyer. He’s the Supreme Court Judge, now.”

“Really?” I smirk. That’s a new piece of information for me to store away.

He lies back against the headboard and puts his hands behind his head, linking his fingers. I sense that he has something on his mind.

“What?” I ask.

“Why haven’t you got a boyfriend?”

I shrug. “Nobody interests me.”

“Really?”

I laugh. “Why is that so shocking to you?”

He rolls over me and pins my hands above my head. “Are you saying that I’m uninteresting?” He bites my nipple.

“Well… you’re not exactly boyfriend material.” I giggle. “Are you?” I struggle to escape his grip.

He bites me again, and the mood changes. “Although…” I smile.

“Although what?” He bites me again.

“Your sexual stamina is definitely resume-worthy.”

He smiles as he spreads my legs with his knee.

“Stop it.” I laugh as I try to buck him off. “There is no sex happening this morning.”

“Why not?”

“Because you’re an animal that’s trying to fuck me to death, and I’m sore.”

He drops his chin to rest on my chest. I brush his hair back from his forehead.

“Because you’re so wholesome and pure, right?” He smirks up at me.

I huff. “I am wholesome and pure, thank you very much. You’re just a bad influence on me.”

“Little Miss Let-Me-Drink-You-Down.” He moves back and gets out of bed.

My eyes drop to his semi-hard penis as it hangs between his legs. “What do you expect with that thing hanging around?”

He holds his hands out to his sides. “Last chance.”

“It’s a pass.” I raise both brows, making my point.

“Your loss.” He shrugs casually and saunters to the shower, leaving me to lie in bed.

I like this mood he’s in.

I hear the shower turn on, and I put on my robe and walk into the bathroom to find him under the water washing himself with soap.

I sit on the chair in the corner. “How come you don’t have a girlfriend?”

The water runs over his head. “They ask too many personal questions.”

I smile, smartass. “So, you can ask me personal questions but I can’t ask you any?”

He pours shampoo into his hand and begins to wash his hair. “That’s right.”

“We should go out for dinner tonight,” I say.

He frowns. “Umm.”

“What?” I frown.

“I’m not supposed to date you.”

“Why not?”

“Because you work at the club. It’s in the membership rules.”

“Oh, Heaven forbid you should risk your membership.”

“You could always leave,” he winks.

I stand up and put my hands on my hips as I act outraged. “Sebastian Garcia, are you trying to bribe me to leave my job with a paltry dinner date?”

He washes the shampoo off. “Maybe.” He smiles with his eyes closed. “Maybe I’m trying to bribe you to date me.”

I twist my lips to hide my delight. “I’ll think about it.” As if I don’t care either way.

“Well, you have ten minutes to decide. I’m in meetings all day today, and if you want me to book a restaurant for tonight, I need to know now.” He steps out of the shower and tears my robe off to pull me under the water. “Anything I can do to swing your decision?” His lips go to my neck with a sharp bite, and I laugh out loud.

“No, sex maniac. You’ve done enough.”

Half an hour later, Sebastian is dressed in his suit, and I’m getting ready for college.

“Do you need a lift?” he asks.

“No, I have my car here.”

He has this mischievous smirk on his face.

I smile up at him as I straighten his tie and dust his lapels.
