Accidental Love (Accidental Hook-Up 1)

We had a few moments with our little man as Brin and Melinda left to tell the guys that Declan was here. They were by my side with both babies and I think we all cried each time it was me or Brin in this position. I knew that Maisie was out there with Ryan and Dad and let the doctors clean me up, so she could meet her brother.

She came in holding May’s hand and Ryan followed with the twins. Remy kissed Maisie’s cheek as he placed her on the bed beside us and moved behind her to hold her in place. She stared at Declan with her eyes wide and then looked at me. “Brother Declan?” She asked, and I nodded tearfully.

She was three now and would be a great help when May wasn’t fighting her for the chance. I let her kiss his head gently as the family surrounded us, filling the room with their happy voices. Remy stroked her hand and then stared at me for a long moment as I flushed pink. Two kids and he still did that to me.

They visited for most of the afternoon and Maisie went home with Brin and Ryan for a sleepover. Remy stayed with Declan and me, snuggling in the bed with me as best he could as we stared at Declan resting on my chest.

Life was perfect. It was amazing, and I felt the warmth in the room, coming from Remy and my baby. I also felt my mom and dad there, watching over us and I stroked Declan’s tiny head gently. “Thank you for saving me,” I whispered to Remy as he looked at me before placing a kiss to my lips.

“You saved me as well. You’ve given me life, baby. You showed me just what I wanted and didn’t know I was missing.” Remy smiled warmly at me and stroked my hair back. “I can’t wait to get him home and show him the beach.”

“I don’t think he’ll care for a while,” I laughed as Remy raised his brow.

“Maisie was all over it as soon as she could see it. I spent hours with her strapped to my chest walking out there.” He spoke softly, smiling at the memory.

“You’ll be doing that with him before you know it.” I stroked Declan’s back and felt him shift against my bare skin. I was covered to keep the chill from him, but he was naked with me, apart from his diaper.

I looked at Remy as he lifted the blanket, looking at us together. “I love the three of you so damn much.” His eyes locked with mine and I smiled at him.

“I love you all more.” He leaned in to kiss me, his hand secure on Declan as our mouths met.
