The Single Dad (Red's Tavern 4) - Page 46

“I guess I do,” I said, airlessly.

“Maybe you are in trouble, Cameron,” he purred, leaning forward and running his lips along my shaft, teasing me mercilessly. “I caught you staring at me while I was out here trying to have an innocent shower.”

“Innocent, my ass,” I said. “You were hard as hell.”

He let his tongue slip out between his lips, a hot, wet rush of sensation slowly dragging from the base of my cock to the tip.

“I admit nothing.”

“Luke, it’s okay,” I said, my cock aching as he teased me, licking slowly along the underside of my tip. “We both need to come. I clearly interrupted a jerk-off when I got here, right?”

He pushed his tongue harder up against the bottom of my shaft, lapping at me. “I’ll tell you a secret. I was so close to coming when I heard your voice.”

My heart pounded. “I’m sorry I ruined the moment,” I said quietly.

“You turned the moment into something ridiculously hot,” he said, sucking my cock back into his mouth again, practically making my knees buckle at the rush of sensation.

“You are the worst,” I uttered, leaning back against the corner of the greenhouse, my feet planted on the wet grey stone below us.

He drove me wild with his tongue, bobbing up and down on my cock in a steady rhythm. I lost myself in the feeling, letting him show me his stupidly good skills as I sank into bliss. After a few minutes he pulled off, standing up and rinsing off one more time under the spray of water.

“Maybe I’ll just tease you all day,” he said, giving me a wicked glance.

I shot daggers at him with my eyes. “You wouldn’t dare.”

“Oh, I definitely would.”

“I hate you.”

“You love every minute of this.”

Just hearing him say it made my cock bob in front of me.

“I do.” I swallowed past my suddenly dry throat. “I want… more.”

He met my eyes, raising an eyebrow. “You want to come in my mouth, don’t you?”

Just say it. Tell him exactly what you want, and stop being afraid.

“I want you to fuck me.”

His gaze was smoldering. A moment passed that felt like an eternity, and suddenly the sound of the trickling water felt louder. I had no idea if I’d gone too far or if he was still just torturing me, deciding exactly how to unravel me from the inside.

He bit his lower lip, and then reached for the small turn-knob and stopped the flow of the outdoor shower. I was still covered in water, and I watched him shake out his hair.

“Stay here,” he said.

“What?”

He didn’t answer, simply walking off through his yard, past the trees and a patch of flowers toward the house. He disappeared inside and I was left standing alone on the stone, the sun slowly heating my wet skin. Riotous birdsong filled the air, and the sound of the breeze in the trees was so much more apparent now that I was on my own. Somewhere far-off, the smell of somebody grilling came through the air.

It all reminded me of a simpler time, a time when I was younger and the whole world felt open to me. I felt alive in a way I hadn’t in so long. I was doing this. I was really doing this. I had no clue what was going to happen, no plans, and no expectations.

Free, even.

And fuck, it felt good. Like I was willing to be carried along with the current, to enjoy every moment with Luke without worrying about what the hell we were doing.

A minute later he emerged from the house, still naked and carrying something in his hand. Just as I saw him, I heard a sound from the front of the house, a knocking that sounded like it was coming from his side gate.

“Luke? You around?” a voice came.

“Liz?” he said, reaching for a towel on his picnic table and tossing it around his waist.

“You got any basil?”

I heard the sound of the gate unlatching and I bolted from the outdoor shower around the greenhouse, pushing open the door and heading inside. It was a little warmer in here, and immediately I was surrounded with the smell of damp fresh soil and dozens of beautiful flowers.

I stood inside, naked and frozen in place, hidden behind all of the plants as I watched through the glass.

“Oregano? Really, Liz?”

“I’m sorry! I have Lacey and Cara over and I can’t make these caprese sandwiches without basil. My plant is not happy right now but I know you take better care of your basil.”

Luke walked over to the small herb garden by the side of his house, picking basil and handing it to Liz.

“You sure that’s all you need?” he asked.

“Sorry. I interrupted your shower. See you later. Come by the store tomorrow, we’ll have new tomato plants in. Oh! You have to remind me to update your member card at the store.”
