“So,” Vicki said. “What do you think?”
April looked around the room. If the club downstairs looked like some sort of kinky dungeon, this room was much more imposing. It was painted a deep purple and was filled with more of the same strange furniture as downstairs, along with a bed. Arranged around the room on shelves and racks was a collection of BDSM toys that rivaled the contents of Vicki’s closet.
April’s stomach fluttered. The other night, when the two of them were recovering in Vicki’s bed, Vicki had asked April which of the toys in the closet appealed to her. She hadn’t known where to start. The restraints, those formidable looking whips—April wanted to try it all. As much as everything in this room intimidated her, it turned her on even more.
Vicki spoke again. “It’s not too late to back out.”
April turned to face her. “A minute ago, you were practically begging me to come up here with you. Are you sure you’re not the one losing your nerve?”
“I mean it,” Vicki said firmly. “If you’re not comfortable with any of this, you can back out at any time. Or use your safeword.”
“I know,” April replied. “I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t want this.”
“Remember,” Vicki said. “A Domme’s first priority is looking after her submissive. You’re always safe when you’re with me. I’ll never push you further than you can handle.”
April nodded. “Okay.” She found Vicki’s seriousness reassuring. “What are we going to do?”
Vicki smiled. “Since you were so interested in the toys in my apartment, we’re going to play with some of them.”
April folded her arms across her chest. “I thought you didn’t need tools?”
“I don’t. But they have their uses,” Vicki said. “Especially when it comes to making unruly submissives more amenable.”
Goosebumps sprouted on April’s skin. What had she gotten herself into?
Vicki walked over to over to a padded leather table near the end of the bed. “Get onto the table on your hands and knees.”
April looked at the sturdy black table. It was about waist height, and almost looked like a massage table, but it was clearly meant to be used for something more sinister. There were rings all around the edges that looked like something could be tied to them.
April glanced at the toys arranged around the room again. She and Vicki had briefly discussed what Vicki referred to as “limits” before they’d come inside. April knew that Vicki wouldn’t cross any lines, but she wanted to know what the other woman had planned. “What are you going to do?”
“April,” Vicki said. “What was my first rule?”
April thought back to that night in Vicki’s apartment. “To obey your instructions.”
“Get onto the table, before I make you crawl here.”
April opened her mouth to retort, but Vicki gave her a frosty look that compelled her into action. “Fine.” Without taking her eyes off the other woman, April walked purposefully to the table and climbed onto it on all fours.
Vicki took April’s chin in her fingers. “What was my second rule?”
“To remain silent unless spoken to,” April said.
“Do not break my rules again.”
April nodded. The weight of Vicki’s stare made her want to crumble.
Vicki brought her lips to April’s in a knee-melting kiss. “Good,” she said.
After the other night, April was starting to see a pattern in Vicki’s behavior. Obey her, and Vicki would reward April with the kind of sweet, hot passion that made April weak. Disobey her, and Vicki would show April her much darker side. April couldn’t help but wonder—what would Vicki do if April continued to defy her? How far could April push her?
Was she brave enough to try to find out?
“As for what I’m planning to do?” Vicki continued. “It’s exactly what I told you the other night. I’m going to show you what it means to be my submissive. It’s not all fun and games. And it’s not all about sex, and pleasure. It’s about power. It’s about control. It’s about you relinquishing both to me.”
April knelt there in silence, her heart speeding up with every passing moment.
“You see,” Vicki said. “You’re the type of submissive that resists your nature. The type that fights your desires with every part of your being. You say you want this. In your mind, you want this. Your body gives it away too. And yet, you’re still trying to hold onto control instead of letting go.”
