Sharing Her

Jake comes up to us, wiping the sweat off his brow. He’s shirtless, in his jeans and boots, looking every bit the sweaty, sexy handyman he’s turned into since we all moved back into my house together. There have been lots of little things to fix here and there, and both my men have been amazing at helping keep the place tidy and functional while I’m wrapped up in being pregnant and a bestselling author at the same time.

“So, how’s that mac and cheese sound?” Jake asks, beaming at us both.

“Or Italian takeout?” suggests Travis.

I bite my lip and think about it, then answer, “Hmm. Both,” with a smile.

Travis laughs and nods. Both of my guys will do just about anything for me these days. He says, leaning down to kiss me, “That works for us. Why choose when you can have both?”

Stealing Her

“Anything to keep your job, Emily?”

Max Armstrong, CEO of the company I work for, throws my words back in my face with a tone dripping with hunger. He stands up from his desk and walks toward me, all six and a half feet of him looking even taller the closer he gets.

I bite my lip and take a lock of my dark hair in my hand to play with nervously. Why did I say that?

I was at least a head shorter than Max, with straight black hair that hung past my shoulders, pale skin, full lips, an upturned nose, and soft brown eyes that were sparkling with nervousness. I wore a blouse a

nd pencil skirt that showed a little more of my long legs than I needed to. My perfume made me smell like lavender--work was stressful, so it was a scent I liked to keep around. My heels made me a lot taller than I was, but Max still dwarfed me.

He was an intimidating guy on a normal day.

But this isn’t a normal day.

I’m standing in his office because he caught me stealing company money.

It wasn’t much, considering how much the company rakes in. I should know, I’m one of the girl working the books. I thought a little change here and there wouldn’t go missing--I have bills that need paying, after all.

Too bad Max Armstrong is a very hands-on CEO. He personally noticed the discrepancies in the books and called me into his office.

And now, he’s ravishing me with his eyes.

“Anything at all?” he repeats, slowly pacing around me. I swallow.

“Yes, sir,” I say softly.

“I like the way you say that,” his deep, husky voice rumbles. “Did you know, before all this, your CV was on my desk for a promotion? You’ve caught my eye, Miss Andrews. I would have liked having you as my personal assistant.”

What?!

“I did a little investigating in your internet use while I was at it,” he says, and my face goes cherry-red. “Pornography at work, Emily? Really? I expect that from the men, but…”

“Please, Mr. Armstrong,” I gasp, turning around and putting my hands on his chest, and I almost jump back as I realize just how rock-hard those pecs are. My instinct is to run my hands further down, but I take them back as if burned by fire. “I-I mean…”

He smiles and touches my chin with his finger and thumb, lifting my gaze back up to him. “It’s okay, Emily,” he says in a deep, reassuring voice. “We all have desires like that. It’s what makes us human.”

He brings his other hand around to my ass and pinches it.

I yelp, and my eyes go wide. Is he really doing this?! What would HR think? But I know that wouldn’t matter. I’m a thief, and he’s going to punish me any way he wants.

And if I’m honest with myself...something inside me wants to be punished.

“I’ve seen your pay, Emily,” he growls as he pulls me closer to him, and my stomach bumps against his groin. I feel his rock-hard shaft under that tailored suit, and I realize he’s hard for me. I never thought someone like him would want me, but the way he’s looking at me is downright lustful. “You don’t need the money. You weren’t even stealing much. Why would a nice girl like you do something silly like this?”

“I…” I breathe, words lost.

I nearly jump out of my skin when a third voice speaks.
