The Thrall (Seven Sins MC 3) - Page 54

"Come," I demanded again, sliding my talon carefully over her nipple. Not hard enough to slice the skin, but enough to feel the sharpness, to make the adrenaline surge through her system just as the orgasm ripped through her, making her shriek at the intensity, her body folding forward once again. "No, I'm not done with you," I said when she went to slide away.

I was never going to be done with her.

One of my hands sank into her hip, talons biting into her soft flesh as I moved a step back, dropping my ass down on the shower seat, pulling her onto my lap.

"Ride me," I demanded, keeping my hands on her hips, not wanting her to lose her balance. "Good girl," I hissed as she started to move her hips, finding the motion that felt best, then working me while driving herself up. "You feel so good," I growled, my hand closing around her throat as I felt her getting closer. "Yeah, baby, squeeze my cock," I growled as she came hard around me, her cries ricocheting off the shower walls.

"Drex," she whimpered.

"Get up," I demanded, voice rough. "Get on your knees," I demanded, pushing her off my lap, waiting for her to comply. "Suck my cock, Nova," I demanded on a tight growl as her hand reached for me, as her head dipped. "I want to come down your throat," I told her, feeling her whimper around my cock as she started to suck me.

There was nothing slow or unsure about it.

She sucked me hard and fast, wasting no time, getting me to that edge, then continuing on.

"Fuck, that's it, baby," I hissed, my hand grabbing the back of her neck hard as I came.

I swear I fucking blacked out for a moment.

When I came to again, Nova's head was resting on my thigh, a soft smile on her lips.

"Shit," I hissed, eyes going wide as I saw a trickle of blood down her shoulder.

"What?" she asked, looking up at me, her brows knitted.

"I cut you," I told her, moving her wet hair out of the way.

"I liked it," she told me, eyes warm.

"Yeah?" I asked, sure she was just saying it to make me feel better.

"You lost control," she said.

"Yeah," I agreed, watching as the water mixed with her blood, lightening the color before it trailed down her naked body.

"Because of me," she added, smile spreading.

"Yeah," I agreed.

"What's not to like about that?" she asked.

Perfect.

She was fucking perfect.

Which was good.

Because she was mine.

For fucking ever.

Chapter Seventeen

Nova

Freedom felt better than I could have dreamed.

Though I was finding it difficult to adjust to my life being completely my own, to not having to plan my day around the whims of a master.

It was also new to have to adjust my sleep schedule.

For so many years, I'd needed to sleep during the day and wake at night for the vampires. The demons, though, worked on closer to a more human schedule. Though some of them were more night owls than others.

What was even more interesting, though, as the days stretched on, was how well I was starting to feel.

I guess I was so used to feeling so crappy that I didn't realize I could feel better.

Each day, though, I felt stronger, more rested.

A huge part of that was Drex, of course. He still made sure I took my iron supplements, that I ate iron-rich foods, that I was getting the right balance of protein, fat, and carbs.

I actually walked in on the man in the library poring over some of Ace's books on nutrition. He took notes. He made Daemon go to the store to get all the right foods.

He wasn't a good man.

He was an exceptional one.

Even if, technically, he wasn't a man at all.

"What is this?" Drex asked, plucking the blanket off the bed with two fingers, like it might bite him or something.

"A blanket. Daemon picked it up for me."

"It's pink."

"Yeah," I agreed, nodding. "Don't worry. It doesn't make your room any less masculine," I assured him.

"Our."

"Hm?" I asked, half distracted with the book in my lap.

Ace had come around. You know, as much as Ace came around to anyone. When he'd found out I was interested in the demons and their history, he'd been surprisingly eager to teach me, to offer me books.

If it weren't for his surly demeanor, he probably would have made a fantastic teacher.

As it was, though, he was feeding my curiosity about him and them and their kind.

"Our," Drex repeated.

"Our what?" I asked, slipping a bookmark between the pages in case it fanned closed while I was distracted.

"Our room. This isn't my room anymore. It's our room."

"Oh, right," I agreed, still struggling with the concept. I figured it would come. It had only been two weeks.

"You want to spread out and put shit in places, you do that."
