The Darkness Calls (The Transfigured Ones 1)

When he complied, she moaned, “Like that, yes.”
He continued to swirl his fingertips around her clit until she moaned, “I need your fingers inside me.”
Talan groaned against her neck and said, “You have no idea how hard you’re getting fucked later tonight, Lilly.” Saying so, he shifted his thumb and began to press it against her clit as he slid three fingers into her aching cunt.
She rocked herself against his hand, whimpering softly. Eventually she let loose a moan when the sensation became a bit too much for her to handle. “Fuck,” she said. “That feels so good.”
“I can feel you clenching around my fingers, love. Are you going to come for me?”
He seemed to be able to sense the scream that was about to come tearing out of her because his mouth slammed down on hers just as she began to peak. As she screamed, he swallowed the sounds and continued to fuck her with his fingers until she was spent.
Lilly laid back against the leather, panting and shaking with the last of her release. “That,” she said, turning to look at him. “…was freaking amazing.”
He grinned and said, “You come beautifully. Seeing that is never going to get old.”
“I should hope not,” she all but purred. Looking at his lap, she saw his straining erection.
“Regretfully,” he said, following the line of her eyes as he licked his fingers clean, “we don’t have time.”
She ran her fingertips along the prominent ridge of his cock and said, “I’ll take extra special care with it later.”
“No teasing, love,” he said, moving her hand to his thigh and holding it there.
Lilly looked at him from under her lashes and said, “Oh. I wasn’t teasing. That was absolutely a promise.”
He shook his head, a grin pulling at his lips. “I hope you eat well, love. You’re going to need your strength later.”
“I’ll be sure to eat my vegetables,” she said as she relaxed into him.
“See that you do,” he said, laughing softly.
Moments later, she felt the motion as the car began to parallel park.
“I can barely parallel park my tiny little car. I can’t imagine parallel parking this boat,” she said, kind of in awe of the driver’s skills.

By the time everyone had settled in to the leather seats at the small, upscale bar after dinner, Lilly had finally started to relax. She’d been incredibly nervous to meet Talan’s friends. It was different when it was one on one, and then quite another thing when there would be several of them. Everyone had been incredibly nice to her. Well, almost everyone.
Their first stop had been Lachlan’s place. When they had entered the vehicle and introductions had been made, Lilly found herself somewhat surprised by Lachlan’s taste. Regina seemed nice enough, but she didn’t strike her as the brightest.
As they had continued on to their second destination, they made idle chitchat. Lilly couldn’t help but feel a little out of place, being the only human among them. Talan seemed to sense her unrest because in mid-sentence, he reached down to twine his fingers with hers.
She gave his hand a squeeze and continued to listen as Regina talked about her job. She was a photographer. Lilly found it fascinating that she was able to adapt to not being able to shoot anything outdoors during the day. She found herself really involved in the conversation when the vehicle finally stopped to pick up the last of their party—Stefano and Colette.
Stefano was exceedingly polite and more than a little shocked, as she hadn’t expected to see Talan with a date. Colette on the other hand immediately asked, “You’re dating a human?”
Talan bristled at her question. She’d felt him tense up as he stiffly answered, “Yes. I am.”
“At least it’s a constant source of food,” Colette said, an expression on her face that bordered on disgust.
Lilly’s face flamed. What a bitch! Colette had reduced her only value to that of a snack. Before she even had a chance to speak, Stefano said, “Colette! That’s highly inappropriate.”
She rolled her eyes and said, “Apologies to you and your little human friend.”
Talan chose to ignore her entirely, squeezed her hand, then turned back to Lachlan.
“I have a name,” she said, correcting Colette. “It’s Lilly.”
