“Oh, he came down a little while ago, saw that you were asleep, and said he was going to grab a shower and hit the sack.”
“He’s not asleep. He never goes to sleep without getting some pussy. He’s like an animal in bed.”
Don’t I know it! I thought. And I never even made it out the kitchen. I can’t imagine the shit he does in the bedroom.
No doubt about it, I had met my match sexually. I thought I was impressing somebody with the strawberries and semen in the sugar bowl. Not! He tore my insides up, damn near gutted me. As much as I thought I was jealous of Judy, now I realized that was a bunch of bullshit. There was no way I could deal with that barnacle dick every night.
Judy and I talked for another twenty minutes or so. I was in too much pain to get back up off the chair right away. I finally managed to get up and we went upstairs.
“Marilyn, you sure you don’t want to spend the night? It’s awfully late and the streets are pitch-black.”
“No, I’m good. I’d rather sleep in my own bed. You know, the whole ‘no place like home’ thing.”
She walked me to the front door. “Thanks for coming over. You’re such a good friend.”
I turned to her and was about to hug her and give her a kiss on the cheek but thought better of it. Didn’t want the fuck scent to hit her nostrils.
“I love you, Judy. Good night.”
I was wrong for that. Dead wrong for it, but I did love her. She was my best friend.
As I sat in my car, waiting for the air in my seats to kick up to cool my sore ass off, I glanced up at their bedroom window and saw the silhouette of Judy getting undressed and climbing into bed with William.
“Good luck,” I said to myself as “Straight Fuckin’” by Tyrese blared through my Bose system. “I don’t even want to think about the third nut.”
I pulled out of the driveway and cruised slowly down the street, having learned my lesson but good. Sometimes it’s better to let your friends handle their own dick action.
Then again, there was that time with my other best friend Gina’s man: the Bullmastiff. But that is another confession for another time.
I really need to do better.
Mea culpa! My bad!

Scott G.’s philosophy for writing stories is simple. “I let the idea introduce itself to me from what I learn, see, and experience. From there, the story writes itself. I am just the vessel through which the words make it to the paper.” He wasn’t always fascinated by reading or writing until “I picked up a fictional book in my twenties, and I realized that ideas begat ideas, and then I was hooked.” He hopes that there will be readers out there who will one day “begat” an idea from something he has written. He resides in Matthews, North Carolina, with his wife and two boys.
