She nodded and he put it to her lips. She took it, licking his fingers as she did.

Micah growled and I saw a gleam in Lacey’s eyes.

“So, sugar. Tell us about yourself.”

CHAPTER EIGHT

Lacey

“I can’t believe you want to marry me,” I said, after swallowing the tangy olive. I was hungry. I’d certainly worked up an appetite. I hadn’t eaten since lunch and not only did I have a three-hour trail ride, but a three-hour sex marathon, too.

Marry. They were insane. They were gorgeous, dominant and very alpha and yet they wanted to marry me? What man said that? They’d gotten what they wanted. Well fucked. All they had to do was take me back to my cabin at Hawk’s Landing and I’d have a fling to remember for the foreseeable future. But no.

They seemed to want a relationship. A serious relationship with the end goal as marriage. Wow.

“Like I said, not today. That’s a big deal and built on trust, friendship. So much,” Colt said, grabbing a chunk of cheese that Micah had sliced. Nibbled. “You mentioned jet lag. I thought you came from LA.”

I shifted my arms, tried to get my hands free of the soft rope. It was snug, but I still had feeling. “Can’t you let me go?”

“Nope,” Colt said, grinning. “You look good in my rope. Might have to try it again later. Ever been tied to a bed and fucked?”

My mouth fell open at the thought. My pussy, already a little achy from their thorough attentions earlier, seemed to like their ardent focus now, too. I’d never been tied up before, never really played much. It had just been sex, nothing too wild or adventurous. Definitely never five orgasms. Micah fed me a piece of cheese, then poured iced tea into a small plastic cup. He held it up for me, but I shook my head.

“Um…no.”

Micah took a sip himself, put the cup down. “Colt’s the champion with rope.”

“You competed? Tying up women?”

Colt laughed and I loved the sound. Where Micah had on all of his clothes, Colt was shirtless—since I was wearing it—and the view was, well, spectacular. Sitting on the lap of a hot cowboy, one who was a gentle giant, felt good. He was warm, so very warm, like a furnace. I could only imagine snuggling up to him in bed on a cold winter night. Who needed a blanket?

The storm had blown off while I slept and the sky was clear. The air smelled damp, fresh. And Colt’s shirt smelled like pure male. I had no doubt it was coated in pheromones making me all wild and lusty.

“You’re the first woman I’ve ever roped. And, hopefully, the last.” He curled a slice of salami and put it to my lips. I bit half of it and he fed himself the rest.

Neither of them wanted anything from me. No, they probably wanted my body again, but I knew they wouldn’t just be using me. Not with

five orgasms on my tally and only one each for them.

“You mentioned jet lag, sugar,” he prompted again.

He’d been listening.

“I was in Korea. I got back the other day to LA, but had to get out of town.”

“Did something happen?” Micah asked, his gaze sharpening.

I shrugged, glanced out at the lake. They were being honest with me, perhaps too honest, and I felt compelled to do the same. “There was a guy. Everyone thought we were dating, but it wasn’t really true.” Micah fed me a salted almond. “I came home to a crazy party at my house with him in my bed fucking a blonde.”

Both men’s bodies stiffened as if they were ready to go to LA and beat Chris up.

“You broke up two days ago?” Micah asked.

I shook my head, making sure they understood. “It happened the other day, yes. But we weren’t really dating, so I wouldn’t say we broke up.”

“Your sister said you needed to get laid. What are we, rebound guys?”

I narrowed my eyes. Anger pumped through me hot and swift and it made me clench my hands into fists. “You were eager to hop into bed with me without knowing this. Why are you upset now?” I asked Colt.
