Classy AF (Cheap Thrills 3)
Finally she looked up at me. “What if I said no?”
Pulling the last dressing off, the one that was on my hand, I held it out so that she could see the two lines I’d had tattooed around my finger with an R and a tribal rose in between them. “Then it would suck that I had these done.”
And it really would, because I had no intentions whatsoever of getting them removed, ever. I also had no intentions of accepting the word no if that’s what she was going to say, but I’d rather have the memory of her saying yes than me begging her.
Eyes fixed on my finger, she murmured, “What am I going to have on my finger?”
With my good hand, I reached into my pocket and held out the diamond ring I’d bought three weeks ago. “I was hoping you’d wear this.”
That’s when she reacted, tackling me down to the floor and kissing me. Rolling us so that I was on top of her, I poured my heart and soul into the kiss.
It wasn’t until I braced my hand with the ring in it on the floor, that I remembered what I was holding. So, pulling back reluctantly, I reached for her left hand and slid the ring onto her finger. “Is that a yes?”
I’d seen Rose smile on many occasions, but the smile she wore on her face at this moment was one I hoped I’d never forget. I wanted to be sitting eating pudding when I was ninety-eight with this moment in my mind. “Of course it’s a yes,” she squealed. “But I’m totally getting the same tattoo on my finger.”
While I’d been getting it done today, Garrett and Ellis had pointed out that it was my initial, too, so if she said no I’d survive. The possibility of her saying no had freaked me the hell out, but as soon as I saw the rose on my side, I had decided that I’d use anything I could to hear her say yes. Our initials might be the same, but I’d proudly tell anyone and everyone what the R on both tattoos really stood for. And the idea of her doing the same…
Kissing her again, I ground down into her, not caring that we were on the kitchen floor. That was until my elbow hit a big bowl, sloshing water over the rim of it. “Where’s Ranger and Rex?”
“What?” she asked, sounding confused until she saw what I was looking at. “Oh, Garrett took Ranger over to his house and Rex is in his special place.”
His special place being the room upstairs that I’d moved around to put one of those huge cat trees in it after he’d attacked Chad. He’d been reluctant to use it at first, but then I’d started hiding treats in it and now he spent most of his time on his back in the bed attached to the top part of it.
This meant that we were free from interruptions.
Tugging on the bottom of her T-shirt so that she’d lift up, I pulled it up over her head and groaned when the piercings came into view. The bra she had on pushed her tits close together, deepening the cleavage that they were in so that I could only just see them sparkling at me. Those little jewels did it for me every time.
Moving down to them, I skimmed my nose over the first one. “I really fucking love these,” I repeated for the millionth time.
“I know,” she snorted. “It’ll suck when they fall out.”
That got my attention. “What? Why would they do that?”
“Honey, the skin heals and pushes them out. That’s what happens.”
Shit, I hadn’t thought about that. “Can you get them done again?”
Nodding, she arched her back and reached underneath it to undo the clasp of her bra, bringing her hands back around in front of her and slowly pulling it off. Her breasts were the perfect handful, topped by raspberry colored nipples, and without the bra I could reach the other two piercings. So I did.
Kissing around them softly, I murmured, “Do you want to know what I know?”
Threading her fingers through my hair, she gently rubbed her thumb under my ear, almost distracting me from what I was thinking. “What do you know?”
Trailing across to a nipple, I circled it with the tip of my tongue, watching as it tightened. “That every part of you,” I mumbled, pulling it between my lips, and letting it go, “is all mine, for the rest of our lives.” I told her, sucking it back into my mouth. This time when I let it go, it was to make my way across to the other one, giving it the same attention.
“Raoul,” she gasped, arching her back again and tightening the hold she had of my hair.
