Under His Discipline - Love Under Lockdown

The forthcoming ass-slapping was going to be a harsh one. Flat handed, going downward, starting at his second knuckle. I would probably scream. All this was easy to guess. Other than I loved the stinging pain, the only real consolation was that it was definitely my fault. I’d broken concentration, which was the worst thing I could do in Max’s estimation.

Getting the last shard into the trash can, I stood and bent myself over the counter. My palms flat on the cool marble.

He clutched his hand around the waistband of my skirt, the bottom already gathered. Using it as a handle, he yanked me back toward him. I yelped in awe but was determined to take my punishment with dignity.

The first strike landed full force on my ass, making me jerk with surprise and pain. I gnawed my lip to keep from screaming. I didn’t make a sound. Not even when the tears formed in my eyes and my ass turned the color of a ripe tomato.

Max wrapped my braid around his palm and pulled me back, bringing me up against him. I could feel his cock pressing up against my burning ass. Leaning down, he planted a gentle kiss on my cheek and dried my tears with his other hand.

“You know why I had to do that, right?”

“Yes, Master.”

“Why?”

“I lost focus. The worst thing I can do.”

“Do you resent me?”

“No, Master.”

“Do you think you deserved it?”

“Yes, Master.”

After cooling my smarting skin with some lovely aloe-based lotion, we headed for the office.

He positioned me in a kneeling position in front of his desk. I figured he would have asked me to sit, but that would have been an act of cruelty in my condition. He also didn’t want to leave me standing.

Despite some things he did, Max seemed to care about me, even though he would never say so. I wasn’t certain I was right, but all signs pointed to yes. Sure, he had just spanked my ass red, but to help me improve. It was tough love in the truest sense of the word.

I didn’t know if it was part of my punishment, but Max didn’t even look at me for two hours. Remembering what he had done before, I stayed where he put me. Minding my posture, not moving a muscle. Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, he acknowledged me.

“You were partially right.”

“About what?” I asked.

“It was partially because you broke concentration. But it was something else, too. Something far more personal. The plate that broke was from a set given to me by Elsa. A housewarming gift for my first place. Not expensive, but the best she could afford at the time.”

Shame filled me up. “Oh, I’m so sorry, I—”

“It’s okay. I forgive you. You’ve already been punished enough, no need to do it to yourself. I know the spanking was harsher than usual, but I wanted you to know it wasn’t just the broken rule. I let my emotions get the better of me. It won’t happen again.”

Without permission, let alone warning, I reached out and took his hand. The spark was instant. I knew he felt it as much as I did.

Max pulled me to my feet and stroked my cheek, making me hum with pleasure and contentment. I felt so safe with him. Like the world could fall around us, and he would protect me. He would never harm me, and I shuddered to think about what he might do to anyone who tried.

Scooping me into his arms, he carried me down to the living room to try and take the day off. He had told me at one point he thought vacations were for people who didn’t like their jobs. It seemed to be an actual effort for him to relax. I was more than happy to help him with that.

He took to it better than I thought. The two of us snuggled on the soft leather couch as he took care of me. Massaging my feet and stroking my legs, making me feel like a princess. I hoped lockdown would never end.Chapter 14 - MaxIt was definitely becoming a habit. Not that I minded much. I didn’t even hear her leave, but Charli had somehow slipped out of the room and gotten back in without rousing me. To say I was a light sleeper was an understatement. Sleeping with one eye open would be closer to the truth.

Yet, there she was. My lovely little pet. Impeccably dressed, posture perfect, holding a tray of delicious smelling food. Striding from the door, high heels clicking lightly against the hardwoods, she got on her knees beside the bed. Humbling herself before me.

“Smells good,” I said, moving to take the tray.

“Thank you, Master.”

“I didn’t just mean the food.”

She flushed bright crimson in the way I found adorable. I stroked her cheek, making her smile.
