Cuffed For Love

« Prev  Chapter  Next »

That's not the case when it comes to Dane. He happens to be too good at it. So good in fact that I felt the need to cry. I don’t say any of those things out loud. I simply shake my head no.

“We didn't have sex.”

Her face scrunches. “I was sure you were gonna give it up last night.”

I sigh, knowing that I can’t keep this from her. I can never keep anything from her no matter how embarrassing it might be. She shoves another bite of cereal into her mouth.

“Well, I killed the mood when I burst into tears.”

Her spoonful of cereal stops when it’s almost to her mouth. “Why the hell did you cry? Was his penis that small that it made you cry?” She smirks, and I know she’s trying to make me laugh because right now I’m in full panic mode.

“I really like this guy. In fact, I think we need another word for it that falls between like and love. Someone should come up with that,” I huff. I walk over to the sofa, face-planting into it.

“What did he do when you cried?” She shoves my legs off the sofa so she can sit down. I move, making room for her.

“He held me. Told me it was okay.”

“That’s sweet.”

“What else could he have done? I was crying!”

“What did he exactly do to make you cry?”

I suck my bottom lip into my mouth, really not wanting to admit the why part but knowing it’s inevitable.

“Out with it.”

“I don’t know what happened. His head was between my legs giving me the best pleasure I’ve ever felt in my life. It was one orgasm after another. My legs started to shake and suddenly I burst into tears.”

“Then what?” Her eyes are wide and she’s dying to know the rest of the story.

“He held me. I felt bad that I didn't do anything to him. He told me it’s all cool.”

“And then?”

I pick up one of the throw pillows and toss it at Cece, hitting her with it. “This is a real story of my life. Not some show that you’re waiting on the edge of your seat to see the next scene.”

“Sorry.” She stares at me, waiting for me to finish.

“I must have passed out. I woke up naked in his bed. He said he had to be somewhere and left.” She cringes but quickly tries to hide it, but it’s too late. I already saw it. “See! It’s horrible. I think he was hoping that I'd get up and leave and we wouldn’t have to have this weird next morning awkward chat. Instead I was snoozing away in his bed. Tired from all of the orgasms he gave me, and probably the crying wore me out too.”

“I don’t know. He really seems into you. The way he looks at you I swear he thinks you're some goddess or something.”

“Not anymore,” I mumble.

“Want some good news?”

“Please.” I’ll take anything I can get.

“I loaded the video we got from last night inside that bar and it went viral.” I grab my phone and see she’s right. I want to delete all the comments about how hot Dane is. I decide to leave it. The more comments the better.

“Can we get out of here? I really don’t want to be here when he gets back. I don’t want to do the whole awkward thing.”

“Sure. Let's go walk the boardwalk. We can get some funnel cake and corndogs before we lie on the beach and get your pasty ass some sun.” I stand from the sofa to go get changed. I let out a small gasp.

“Cece. This wasn’t the first time I’ve cried in front of him.” I put my hands over my face, remembering the spiders.

“What else did you cry about?”

“Let’s get our crap and swimsuits on and get out of here. I’ll tell you on the way.”

I should have known better. The man’s job is tracking down people for a living. And it doesn't take him long to find me.FifteenDane“Are you seriously wearing that out in public?” I rip my bomber off and throw it around Joy’s bare shoulders. Someone shrieks that I have a gun, which is why I usually cover it with a jacket, but desperate times, desperate measures. Joy’s out in public with nothing more than a couple layers of tissue paper over her tits and ass.

“It’s a beach, Dane.” She shoves the jacket to the ground.

I pick it up and put it back on her. “There are plenty of people who wear clothes to the beach.”

“Not if you want a tan.” Down the jacket goes.

“Tanning is bad for you. Causes cancer.” I place it over her front.

“No one likes pasty skin.” The jacket falls to the sand.

“I do. Pasty skin is my favorite.” I throw it over her.
