“What do you mean where am I? I’ve talked to you from here before.”

“It doesn’t look the same Samantha, where the hell are you? I’m coming to get you right this fucking minute.”

“No-no, wait, look, I’m just sitting at my desk.” I panned around the room and tried not to roll my eyes, which he hates.

“I usually sit on the bed when we’re talking, but today I’m at my desk; that’s why it looks different.” I had to talk fast to keep him from following through with his threat. I’d had a hard enough time getting him to let me come home without him as it is, and he was still sore about that.

It wasn’t my fault he had business meetings lined up around the clock and couldn’t get away, plus the fact that I had this all planned out for the best effect and him showing up before the time would throw my whole program off.

“Why were you breathing like that?” I blushed, and he went ape shit.

“Swear to fuck Samantha I’ll strangle you.” Now I did roll my eyes as I walked over to plop down on the bed. “Relax, I’m in my parents’ house, and my dad is a bigger cock blocker than you’ll ever be. If you must know, I was thinking about us about our first time together.” I couldn’t look at him directly because I’ve done some things since then that are best left unsaid.

His whole demeanor changed, and he was no longer breathing fire. I guess the reminder about my dad had put him at ease. My parents still don’t know that I’d practically moved out of the dorms and in with him yet, which he insisted on after our first night together, but that’s a whole other story.

I blame myself partially for what I deem his insane jealousy. You see, that very night of the debauchery, aka the night I lost my virginity, he’d come clean to me about something. We’d just done the deed, and I was languishing in his lap where he’d pulled me so he could hold me and offer the comfort he thought I needed because my reaction when he bit into my nape had sent him over the edge, and he’d been a little rough there at the end.

After a leisurely bath where he washed me tenderly before taking me back to bed to rub some more of the soothing cream into my sore flesh, we sat across from each other on the bed with the tray between us digging into the now warm meal which was still good as far as I was concerned.

I was humming with excitement when I happened to glance up from my pig fest to find him, not watching my display with disdain but frowning off in the distance as if displeased with something. Let me tell you, that was not a good look after what we’d just shared, so of course, I was ready to gore him with my dinner fork if he even had the audacity to say something off-colored to me.

“What’s that look about? Just so you know, if you’re having second thoughts, you’d better find the third and the fourth because I didn’t keep my virginity all these years to throw it away on a loser asshole.” He looked at me like I had two heads.

“What the hell are you talking about?” I was close to tears at this point, but I was damned if I was going to let him see me cry.

I tried jumping off the bed to grab my clothes, cursing him all the while. He came around the bed and wrapped his arms around me. “What the hell… Samantha, I told you that you were spending the night. Does that sound like I’m having second thoughts about us?” His words calmed me down a little, but they weren’t enough to kill the kill lights in my eyes.

“So why do you look like that then?”

“Come finish dinner, and I’ll tell you.” It had still taken him a few minutes more to get to it after pulling me back down on the bed to sit beside him. “I was thinking that I want you to move in here with me and how we’re going to do that and also… There’s someone I need to see.”

“Who?” I was confused as hell because he wasn’t making any sense. Not even when he finally looked at me, I still didn’t have a clue. “My lover!”

“Come again!” I can already see the headlines. ‘Billionaire nerd dead and dismembered by virgin’s hands.’

“Calm down; it’s not what you think. I guess lover isn’t exactly the right word that sounds too intimate for what we have. She’s not exactly a friend with benefits because we’ve never been friends; she’s just someone I’ve had a casual arrangement with, oh hell.” He ran his hand over his hair, and I wanted to punch him in the face.
