“You’re as fucking kinky as I am,” I said. “You’re about to come all over my hand while I keep my gun pressed right here”—I positioned it behind his ear—“ready to blow your head off any second. You get off on danger. We’re not all that different, are we?”

He shook his head. “I’m not like you.”

“I think you’re wrong about that. Do you like the shadows? Do you like to fight as much as you like to fuck?

“You don’t know anything about me or what I want.”

I laughed as I stroked our dicks, long and slow. “You’re a fucking liar. I know exactly what you want. I know how to make you come.”

I worked us faster. “You’re going to give into this because you want to come pressed up against a wall in a dirty alley. You want to see if I really will kill you when we’re done.”

“Fuck. No. I…”

I sped up my strokes. He pressed his lips together trying to stifle a groan. I squeezed our shafts tightly enough to hurt, and he couldn’t mask the deep sound of pleasure that rumbled up from his chest.

Fuck, that sound alone could make me come. He worked his hips, pushing against mine.

“Fucking asshole,” he said as cum shot from his dick. The warmth of it against my hand was enough to push me over the edge. I worked us roughly as we both spurted again and again.

This was exactly what I’d needed. It was better than the jump, better than any sex I’d had in a long time, better than the oblivion of alcohol.

The cop sank back into the wall when I was done. I grinned at him as I awkwardly tucked myself back into my jeans one-handed. “Look at the mess you made me make.”

“Fuck you.”

I laughed. “You’ll dream about that tonight, won’t you? About being the one with the upper hand, about driving into my ass, making me cry out, trying your best to break me.”

“You’re fucking insane.”

I shrugged. “Never said I wasn’t.”

“You won’t get away with this or anything else. I know who you are. I’m going to bring you and your filthy fucking family down.” He was goading me, trying to distract me. Lucien might not have taught me to be as cautious as he’d like, but he had taught me not to react to every fucking insult. Sometimes that was exactly what the attacker wanted.

I wrapped my sticky hand around the man’s throat, sliding it up and down, letting him feel our mingled cum there. “We’re not the only ones who are filthy. Look at you, dick out in an alley, legs all wobbly from coming so hard, panting for a man you want to capture.” I lowered my gun, and he gripped my wrist, trying to pull the hand I had around his neck away. When I touched the barrel of my gun to his cock, he let go.

“Got your attention?” I traced his length, and he didn’t soften. “Fuck, you’re a kinky bastard. I would love to play with you some more. Too bad our time’s up.” I stepped away before he could tempt me to more insanity. “Don’t even think about following me. If you have any sense at all, you won’t come near me again. Next time, I’ll probably shoot you instead of making you shoot off.”

I backed away, gun pointed at him. There was a fence at the end of the alley. When I reached it, I put my gun in my waistband.

The cop drew his gun, and I blew him a kiss before I scaled the fence and ran.

He didn’t shoot. He wasn’t dumb enough to draw that kind of attention.

“Watch your fucking back,” he called.

“Thanks for the warning.”

Joe

I stood there, leaning against the wall for far too long after Devil left. What the fuck had I just done?

It wasn’t like I really had a choice. He’d been holding me at gunpoint.

That was true, and yet…

If I’d said no, if I hadn’t been hard as fuck, would he have forced me? My instincts told me he wouldn’t have, but I’d be stupid to believe them. Especially when my brain was still addled from the killer orgasm I’d just had. With Devil fucking Marchesi.

I shuddered, not wanting to think about that as I zipped up. When I was as presentable as I was going to get, I staggered from the alley and called an Uber.

At home, I showered and fell into bed, but sleep wouldn’t come. I couldn’t stop replaying the events of the night.

When I’d seen Devil at The Sentry, I’d followed him on impulse. I hadn’t been there to work. I’d intended to keep drinking until I stopped thinking about the fucking Lily Milano case, the case that should have been mine, the case fucking Sean Murphy took from me.
