Lovers Like Us (Like Us 2)
Amour Amour is hopeful. We wrote it when we felt like we accomplished a dream. When writing long-term, full-time seemed well within our grasp.
So when we sat down to write Lovers Like Us, we knew what type of book we would write. Something that swept us away. That was heartfelt, fun, emotional, and full of all the things we love.
This year has been extremely difficult for us, and this book has been our outlet. Our happiness. Each time we put fingers to the keyboards, it was like living and breathing in a world that loved us and we loved it back. This book and Maximoff & Farrow’s love story are so very special to us in so many ways. And there are people we need to thank for making this book possible. Because it wouldn’t be here without them.
Our mom, there are no words that will do justice to our gratitude. We know this came to you at an incredibly hard time, but you still lended us your editing skills. Our love is boundless for you. We’re not sure how we lucked out on having Rose Calloway as our mom, but we did. Thank you.
Our lovely aunt, your energy is like a ball of light. We love you. Thank you for reading those last few chapters for us!
Marie, you are the French goddess that we definitely don’t deserve, but we’re so lucky to know. Thank you for all your translations. We’re so glad that Jane, Maximoff, Charlie and Beckett sound like they really know French, and that’s truly all thanks to you.
The Fizzle Force, thank you for being a group of loving readers who fangirl along with us. The Facebook group is one of our most cherished places and without it, this job would be a much more lonely affair. Special thanks to the admins—Lanie, Jenn, Jae, and Siiri—for all that you do. We’re grateful for all the support you shower us with. Without you four, we’d be nervous wrecks.
Lastly, thank you, the reader, for picking up this book and continuing with Maximoff & Farrow’s love story. Writing their romance was pure joy for us, something we desperately needed. The extra icing on the cake: their romance isn’t over. Another book means more banter, more fun, more family and love. We really hope you’ll continue on their journey with us.
