Dangerous Rock (Dangerous Noise 3)
"Fuck," he groans.
And he's there.
His cock pulses as he comes inside me. I watch pleasure spread out through his body. His thighs shake. His brow knits then softens. He gets this dreamy look in his eyes.
He leans down to plant a kiss on my lips.
I kiss back hard and deep.
He untangles our bodies, grabs tissues, helps me clean up, helps me into my clothes.
His tie isn't knotted. My underwear is on inside out. His buttons are off. None of that matters right now.
He motions to the door. "You ready for this?"
It's not like before. His voice is bright. Happy.
This time, I am. I nod. "Yeah."
Joel slides his arm around me and he leads me out of the conference room.
Mr. Lux and Mr. Shaw look at us knowingly. They don't seem upset or shocked. They don't move either. They stand there with that are you ready to go on look. Either they wear good poker faces or this isn't the first time a randy couple has decided on a pre-divorce fuck.
"We're not going to get a divorce," Joel says.
Mr. Shaw turns to me. "Ms. Chase, I can't recommend being swayed by—"
"This is what I want."
It really is.
Epilogue
Joel
It's not until I step into the elevator that I actually consider the possibility of Alessandra's text being true.
I have no time for your lovely dovey bullshit. We have real rock stars to deal with. Headliners. Not just opening acts with egos too big for their tour dates. If you steal my assistant, you'll feel it.
She's always been a hard ass, but the don't fuck with my assistant thing is harder to gauge. Alessandra was never protective of her other assistants.
With Bella…
I absolutely believe she'll make me feel this.
But I don't care.
It's been three weeks since I've seen my wife.
Two days since I've heard her voice.
Fuck, I need her right now. My head is already filling with ideas. Ideas that are threatening to make this elevator ride incredibly fucking awkward for the suits riding with me.
The door opens on five. An intern shoots me a nervous glance. He presses his lips together, no doubt reminding himself he's not supposed to gush over the talent.
I've always loved showing up at our label. The crowd is a fun mix of starstuck interns and blasé execs. But now that Bella is on the ninth floor…
I appreciate that the guy's a fan, but I don't have time for him to hold up the elevator.
