T.A. (Biker Bitches 6)
“She’s going to meet him.” Shade nodded to the side. “She must be feeling better.”
T.A. turned to see Killyama, Train, and Dr. Price come through the doorway. Killy was decked out in leather, showcasing her lithe figure. Even pregnant she walked like a cat on the prowl. Envying her, T.A. felt as if she was fading into the background when Killy took her normal position by Sex Piston’s side. She got angry at herself for feeling the edge of jealousy when she saw how pale she was.
“Bitch, what you doing here?”
Killyama rolled her eyes at Sex Piston. “What do you think?” she asked before turning her attention to Dalton. “Damn, you are as hot as T.A. said you were.”
T.A. wanted the floor to swallow her when Dalton looked towards her.
“Thank you.”
“Why you thanking her? I’m the one who told you. That bitch forgot to get my autograph even though she promised me ten times.”
T.A.’s embarrassment faded at Dalton’s bemusement at Killyama’s abrasive attitude.
Her husband, Train, went behind the bar. She watched as he angrily flipped the top off a beer and took a large drink. Killyama couldn’t have cared less. Reaching inside her leather top, she took out a pen and handed it to Dalton.
“The name’s Killyama.”
“Do you have a piece of paper in there too?”
“I don’t want it on paper.” Unzipping the top, she exposed an expanse of her skin that had Train about to come over the counter. Shade moved to block him.
“I wouldn’t,” Shade advised him.
Dalton looked around everywhere except at Killyama’s chest to find something to write on. T.A. opened her purse and took out the first thing that came within reach of her fingertips and gave it to him.
Dalton looked relieved and gave her a grateful smile. Opening the paper, she saw him glance at her before he closed it and scrawled his name on the back of it, then gave it to Killy.
She took it, shoving it into her bra and zipping her top closed.
“I guess it would be too much to lay one on me before I go to the hospital?”
T.A.’s hand went to her mouth to smother her laughter when Dalton turned pale at the suggestion.
“I’m not contagious. I’m just dehydrated. The doc just wants me to go in to get some fluids. Come on, hot lips, lay one on me?”
“I wouldn’t,” Shade warned him again.
Dalton looked over his shoulder at Train. “How about on her cheek?”
“How about not?”
Dalton gave a shrug to Killyama. “I tried.”
“Not too damn hard. Hot lips, you don’t know how close you came to us hooking up.”
“Really? I’ve never been a lucky son of a bitch.”
Killy’s lips curled in a smile. “You just had to dig the knife in deeper by saying that sexy shit.”
Dalton smiled back. “How about you go with your husband to the hospital and get filled with fluids before he takes me out, and I’ll make sure I stop by and check up on you tomorrow before I leave, with Train’s permission of course?”
“You promise? I might have a few things you could sign for me.”
Dalton raised his hand. “Scout’s honor.”
“Hot lips, you’re no boy scout.”
T.A. was shaking with laughter at Killyama’s behavior, knowing half of it was to irritate Train, pretending to give him a hard time when he had come from the bar to edge her toward the door. Dr. Price, who had remained standing and talking near Dax after being introduced to him, saw that Train and Killyama were leaving and hurried off after them, opening the door for them to pass through.
After they left, Sex Piston’s gaze turned to Kaden Cross.
“You going to be here for a while?” she asked Dalton.
“I don’t have anywhere else to be right now.”
“Good, I’ll catch you later.” With a haughty tilt of her head, she took Stud’s arm, leading him toward the singer sitting on the couch.
Crazy Bitch, Fat Louise, and their husbands followed. Not wanting to be left behind, she turned to go in the same direction.
Dax stopped her. “Can I get you a beer?”
“I don’t drink beer.”
“What would you like?”
“Viper have any tequila behind the bar?”
Dax grinned. “I’ll check.”
“I wouldn’t,” Shade cautioned him as Dax went behind the bar.
T.A. raised a brow at him. “Viper already hide it?”
“Locked up tight.”
T.A. set her purse on the counter and opened it. “That’s okay. I brought my own. Dax, you mind handing me one of those fancy glasses?” Taking out a miniature bottle of tequila, she unscrewed the lid.
Dalton turned to stand next to her.
“You usually go to parties with your own bottle?”
“When I get invited here. Viper is stingy with the booze.”
Shade spoke up in defense for Viper. “Why don’t you tell him the real reason?”
“Lily’s not here, is she?”
Shade frowned at her question. “No, why?”
“Because you’re a snide bastard when she’s not around.” Pouring the tequila into her glass, she raised it to her lips.
