Chasing You (Love Wanted in Texas 5)
Anger began to build as I tried to remain calm. Before I even had a chance to say something, Claire shot off again. “She was known on campus for giving guys blowjobs. I also heard she had unprotected sex almost every night. Who knows what kind of diseases she is carrying.” A total fake look of horror came over Claire’s face. “Please tell me you haven’t had sex with her.”
Leaning against the doorframe, I smiled. “Oh Claire, Meagan and I have been having sex for some time now. Hot amazing fuck fests.”
Anger moved swiftly across her face. “Well, girls like that make guys like you not think clearly. You should be making love to someone, Grayson. Not having, what did you call it?”
“Fuck fests,” I said with a wink. “And believe me, Claire, I’ve made love to her plenty of times. So, if you’ll take your poor pathetic excuse for a person and get the hell out of my apartment, I’d really appreciate it. I’m actually trying to make breakfast for my girlfriend.”
Claire swallowed hard. “G-girlfriend.”
“Hey, Claire,” Meagan said as she strolled over toward me in a long blue T-shirt of mine. “I see some people never seem to step out of the role of bully.”
With a nervous laugh, Claire looked between Meagan and me. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Meagan took a step closer to Claire, causing her to take a step back. “See, Claire, all those years of torture by you and your little flunky friends taught me a thing or two. The first thing, anything that comes out of your mouth is vile. I actually feel sorry for you because you must have had a really shit-filled life to try to make someone else’s life miserable. That’s the only thing I can come up with for people like you.”
Shooting Meagan a dirty look, Claire lifted her chin. “People like me?”
“Bullies, Claire. You see, you don’t have to be in elementary school to encounter one. They come in all walks of life, any age, any size, and any color. The difference is now you don’t threaten me because I know who I am and what I’ve always been. I pray that someday when you have a child they don’t encounter someone like you.”

bsp; Claire opened her mouth to talk but quickly shut it. Turning to me, she shook her head and pushed past both of us and out the door. Shutting it, I turned to see Meagan smiling.
“Thank you for not believing her lies.”
I went to talk right as the smoke alarms went off in the kitchen. “The eggs!”
Meagan and I ran into the kitchen as smoke filled the small space. Grabbing the eggs, I tossed the pan into the sink and frowned.
With a sexy smile, Meagan walked up to me and ran her finger along my jaw. “I’m still hungry,” she purred.
Twenty seconds later, Meagan was sitting on the counter as I moved in and out of her body fast and hard.
Perfect breakfast.
Meagan
“EARTH TO MEAGAN.”
Fingers snapped in my face as I directed my attention over to Melissa. “Are you even listening to me?”
With a grin, I nodded. “Yes.”
Melissa cocked her head to the left and looked at me like I was full of shit. “Please. You were off in a dreamland and didn’t hear anything I just said. You haven’t been able to wipe that smile from your face for the last two weeks.”
Biting on the corner of my lip, I attempted to keep my happiness at bay. “So I’m happy. Is that a bad thing?”
“Heck no it’s not a bad thing, I’m happy for you, Meagan. I just need you to focus on the task at hand and not drift off into a daydream about your boyfriend. Your rather good looking boyfriend, I might add.”
The light tap on the door caused Melissa and I both to turn and look at Jennifer. “Meagan, I wanted to remind you of your appointment with Mitchell.”
With a quick nod of my head, I stood. “Thanks, Jennifer.”
As I gathered up my notebook and pen, Melissa stood. “How are things with Mitchell going?”
“Good. If he’s being honest with me, which I think he is. He comes in once a week and it appears things have calmed down at school. The rest of the football team seems to be treating him as a member of the team now.”
“That’s good news. What about the coach?”
