Faithful (Wanted 3)
My smile faded for a quick second before I smiled at her again. I cupped my hands on her face and brought her in for a kiss. I kissed her so softly and tenderly. I wanted to make her feel how much I cared about her. I stood up with her, never stopping the kiss. I slowly pulled away, and then I reached into the shower and turned it on. She looked over and blushed.
Why do I get the feeling she’s much more inexperienced than I thought?
I pushed the towel off of her, and I stared at her beautiful body. I could tell I was making her nervous.
“You’re perfect, Jessica. Beyond beautiful. ”
She closed her eyes as I leaned down and kissed her neck gently. I quickly took off my boxers and helped her into the shower.
“Have you ever made love in the shower before, Jessie?”
She shook her head and looked down.
I bent down and looked into her eyes. “Just Gunner?”
She bit on her lower lip and nodded.
“I’ve only been with Chelsea,” I said.
She gave me a weak smile.
I slowly started to kiss her. I was not going to fuck this up again. As much as I wanted to pick her up and start making love to her, I was bound and determined to make her feel special.
To make her feel…cherished.
Chapter Forty-Seven
“So, are you nervous, princess?” I asked.
When I looked over at her, she had her hand resting on her stomach. She was so much bigger than Ari, but she looked so damn cute.
She let out a giggle. “I’m more worried I’m going to lose my bet with Gunner. He swears it’s two boys. ”
“I’m sticking with a boy and a girl. ”
She reached for my hand and kissed it. “Me, too!”
As Dr. Johnson moved the scanner on Heather’s stomach, I felt tears building in my eyes. I could see both babies. I couldn’t believe how well we could see them with their new scanner. I glanced at Heather as she just cried and cried.
“They’re so beautiful. Oh my god, Josh…our babies!” she said between a laugh and a cry.
“So…do you want to know the sex?” Dr. Johnson asked.
He normally didn’t do ultrasounds himself, but when he saw us walking into the hospital, he’d said he wanted to tag along with us.
At the same time, Heather and I both said, “Yes. ”
Dr. Johnson moved the scanner around and made a few clicks. As he began typing, I read the words appearing on the screen.
Baby number one: I’m a boy.
I jumped up and pumped my fist. “Yes!”
Heather started laughing as she grabbed my hand tighter.
Then, he started typing again.
Baby number two: I’m a girl.
