“I’m gonna fuck you now, Ellie.”

She smiled and closed her eyes before opening them and looking into my eyes. “Yes, Gunner…yes.”

I slammed my dick so fast and hard into her that she let out a whimper.

When I pulled out, she said in a panicked voice, “No, harder. Please, Gunner, I need to feel you. I need it hard and fast.”

I about died. There was nothing sexier than my sweet wife talking dirty to me. I pushed into her again as deep as I could go.

“Oh God, yes.”

I pulled out and grabbed her hips, and then I gave her just what she’d asked for.

“Yes. Yes. Gunner, I’m going to come again. Harder!” Ellie cried out.

I was doing everything possible to hold off. Watching Ellie’s reactions was almost more than I could handle. Something was happening between us. We were rekindling what we’d almost lost. We were getting it back, and I’d never felt so alive in my life.

When Ellie began calling out my name, I pulled out and pushed into her again, deeper and harder. I could feel her squeezing down on my dick, and that was my undoing.

“God, Ellie, I’m coming, baby. Ah, baby, it feels so good.”

I was panting hard as Ellie wrapped her whole body around mine. I slid down next to her in the truck and pulled her as close to me as I could.

“I’ve missed you,” she whispered.

I closed my eyes and fought like hell to hold back my tears. “I’ll never let you miss me again, Ells. Never.”

Ellie and I just talked as we lay entangled in the backseat for the longest time. We talked about everything—our feelings for each other, the kids, our future, and the ranch. It was almost as if we were catching up on months of not seeing each other.

“Ellie, I want to do something like this once a month. I think we need to start taking just a few days for you and me.”

“I would love that, Gunner, even if we just stayed in a hotel for a day or two. I just want this, the way we used to be, without trying to be quiet so that the kids don’t hear. I want to just let loose once in a while.”

“Then, it’s a plan. I’ll make the arrangements for next month.”

She sat up and looked at me. “I’m so sorry I was a jealous idiot. I didn’t mean for you to quit the job.”

I smiled and said, “I’m glad you did. I needed the eye-opener.” I sat up and began handing back her clothes. “Come on. We still have a few more things to do before I take you back to the hotel, so we can really have some fun.”

When I pulled into Zilker Park, Ellie started laughing. “Oh my gosh. Are we going for a canoe ride?”

I nodded my head and smiled. “Yep.” I parked, jumped out of the truck, and jogged around to her side. I opened the door and held out my hand. “Don’t forget your sweatshirt.”

She grabbed it and jumped out of the truck. As we walked down to the water, I had a flashback to the day I’d brought her here. That day, I’d known I was in love with her and that I would love her always.

The song “Let Me Love You” by Neyo popped into my head, and my stomach did a crazy flip. I stopped walking, and Ellie turned to look at me. I just stood there and stared at her.

She slowly smiled and tilted her head. “What’s wrong?”

“I was just thinking about the first time we were here. Do you remember that day, Ellie?”

She nodded her head. “I do. We kissed for the first time down on the hike-and-bike trail.”

I chuckled. “Yeah, we did.”

I grabbed her other hand and pulled her closer to me. “I’ll always love you. Please don’t ever forget that, Ellie. You’re my everything. You’re my entire world. If I didn’t have you…” I shook my head and looked into her eyes. “I don’t even want to think about it. I promise to make you smile every single day, and I’ll never again bring a sad or hurtful tear to your eyes. I promise you.”

A tear rolled down her face. “I love you, Drew.”
